Well, the price is good for a wheel of that level, when you buy a Fanatec is for many many years. Only one thing does not convince me, by default you get power supply 5 NM, but to get the best performance you need the 8 NM power supply, that cost 150 Euros more. At the end the price to play with the best steering wheel is actually almost 900 Euros.

You don't need 8 NM for GT, but you need a lower price for a wide audience. It's great if you want to get into ACC you can upgrade to 8 NM and load cell.

Decided to keep waiting, because the US site still says "no orders will be shipped between Jan. 18. - Jan. 30" at checkout, so that's gonna be two weeks until shipping, three weeks at least until receiving. If they could ship it like tomorrow, I'd probably fall for this.
Edit (Jan 25): I couldn't resist, and pulled the trigger… I haven't canceled my regular version order though, I'm gonna keep it until they have actually shipped my express version, just in case.

Would love to build a rig with this wheel. Unfortunately been pushed to live off dla for foreseeable future so its dualsense experience for me. Any1 from northern ireland feel free to give me a go on your wheel 😁

I'm going to buy a really low budget wheel until TM comes out with their new DD offering in hopes of some direct comparison or competition.

it irks me to also realize I may be without a wheel when GT7 ships, no matter, I won't be in a rush with this game until some 5~10 software patches in. I may actually learn to use the haptic dual sense , if they can release a dummy wheel to insert it, that too would work for the masses.

I placed my order of Express version on 03.01.2022 , recieved it on 18.01.2022 due to their warehouse stuff, and two days later they lower the price by 100€.....

I feel cheated !!!

They had to have known they were going to do this reduction, and the decent thing they could have done is told you they were reducing the price as a good gesture. I think that anyone that has made a purchase within the last 30 days deserves a refund of the difference.

Yes, i feel the same and sent an e-mail cu customer support but ain't expecting much tbh.

This makes me a little upset. I just bought mine 2 weeks ago.
Same here...already have requested a refund of the difference. Not really buying that shipping costs for them have decreased while for the rest of the world it has been the opposite.

Anyone else getting the feeling this wheel isn’t selling well?
This bundle is perfect for me but obviously isn't for many people. I don't see a reason why the wheel base wouldn't sell well.

Try clearing cache, opening an incognito/private window, another browser, another device, another country through VPN (try Sweden). I had this issue for a short moment - fixed it quickly through the above, don't remember which step worked.

The EU site is down for me. Any owners here? I'd be interested how this feels coming from a prehistoric wheel like my G27, I've been sim-racing with this wheel since just before Gran Turismo 5 came out, but a lot less in recent years. Thinking about upgrading, do you sense any level of improved consistency with these higher quality wheels?

I had no issues driving fast to what was probably my limit with the G27, but did have trouble with consistency at times when it came to having to fill in the missing gaps with what the wheel was/was not telling me FFB wise. Same with the pedals, G27 pedals still going strong but compared to a car where you can feel exactly what is going on with these G27 pedals you feel nothing, it's all muscle memory and vision based which can make braking consistently tough.

Considering jumping in this year and upgrading the whole rig, DD wheel and some decent pedals. Noticed the latest Clubsport pedals are monstrously expensive mind, I'd probably go for the GT bundle with the bog standard pedals.

I'm on a G29 now and expecting a GT DD Pro within a week. Since my goal is to be competitive - don't care about "realism" - and drive mostly by FFB sensations, I can get back to you then if you remind me. I don't really trust reviewers for different reasons...
What I'm expecting is a broader dynamic range for both FFB and the brake pedal, so that I can feel the edge of G-force limit easier. Right now with the G29 it's possibly but I imagine it could be easier. Also, the brake pedal, since it can't be calibrated and isn't linear, is difficult to use with high precision.
In-game I'm always on FFB sens. 1 for settings, and max. torque between 1 and 5 (I think I prefer lower since higher seems to be clipping).

I found a fix that worked for me!
First I made a VPN connection to Sweden (for some reason automatic VPN didn't work(if you don't have a VPN maybe using Google's DNS servers might also work)) than I pressed CTRL + SHIFT + R on the website in the browser! After that it worked even after turning off the VPN.
