So its 198?. I've just passed my car license test. I'm still using my motorbike and I've never driven by myself. My boss loans me his company car, a Rover 3500 V6, to run an errand up to London.
Scooting along the M11 and there's a car in front, I accelerate and pass. Now I'm coming up on another car, so I pass him too. Move back over to the left, now there's another car, I pass him. Before I know it I am the fastest vehicle around, I'm zipping past everything.
The car's stable, there's no real wind noise, I glance at the speedo:
120mph!!!
That's the fastest I've ever gone. I hit 90(ish) once in a while.
When I got back to the office my boss chewed me out for taking too long.

Was that the standard or sporting version?
My sporting punto will (just) reach 110mph in 5th gear at 6500rpm or so, it hangs in 6th and decelerates without draft or downhill. On the downhill in 6th it almost hit 125mph for a few glory seconds, it's impossible to hit the 7k (I think) limiter
.Pushed my Impreza up a little past 130 once. That's pretty much the fastest it'll go without removing all the poorly aerodynamic bits and pieces on the car.

The fastest i've been was 240 kmh (~150 mph) - In a friends' CA18DET powered AE86 Levin... running standard boost (~7 psi) 👍
After that: 210 kmh (~130 mph) - In a friends' Supercharged Ford XR8 Falcon with just under 550 BHP... running ~14 psi.
In my mothers' car (me driving): 2002 Mitsubishi Magna I pulled 160 kmh (~100 mph).
In my car (me driving): 1.8 ltr Nissan Pulsar (pretty stock/slow) ~140 kmh (~86 mph) 👎
Nothing too extreme.

Fastest i've ever been is about 165 km/h - 170 km/h in my Skyline today while on a car cruise.
Once in third gear the car just goes nuts and gets up to 160 km/h+ pretty quick - i slowed down because my tyres aren't all that good. And i'm not the hugest fan of speeding. Corners are more my thing (thankfully this car is awesome at both).

Just over 200km/hr (>120mph) in a 200horse commodore 90's model. Wasn't mine and I wasn't driving-I'm 15 people!!!!!!!!!!!

Current Car: 120mph. I can go faster though.. I have Z rated tires. 
Last Car (200SX SE-R): 115mph. Creeped to that speed, and the limiter cut me off.

119mph in my lightly modded 02.5 Mazda Protege5. There is no limiter on my car other than a rev limiter. It's just drag limited at 119. That was at about 5500 rpm in 5th. I have a Mazdaspeed suspension set-up and it felt very stable. Once I get my new cams in should be interesting to see what I can get it up to.

Fastest I've gone in my current car (2004 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V) is about 125mph. I was disappointed to find that the cruise control doesn't work above about 90.
I may have gone faster in my 510, but the speedometer gets a little jumpy over about 100 so I can't say for sure. 100mph in a Datsun 510 feels like 150mph in normal car.
