Mines hit 12 .
Ok, how many laps of Indy did it take you?
Looks like a serious problem though, I won't visit these places ever again
Mines hit 12 .
VoPo914After collecting the daily 10 paint chips and museum cards, as well as two gifted cards: 1 kB increase
5 more gifted cards: 143 kB increase EDIT: these were gifted from a second account on the same PS3)
After visiting the Museum and saving, it grew by a further 1 kB.
Sending one card and 5 paints, the save grew again by 2 kB
The OP reads like an experimental poem
Are your manners broken? Is your shift key broken?
Seriously, what isn't wrong with GT5 at this point?
Well, I'm a card collector myself, and my collection is pretty much nearing completion (I'd say I have about 95% of all the cards, 100% in a few brands). My save's size (checked it now) is 2326 kb.
Tried to clear the cache (within GT5) and checked again. Same size, not one byte less.
So, clearing the GT5 cache doesn't solve it.
do not open the museum!
do not open the news!
gt5 has a big trouble
Any chance that people might hold of on the insults until this can be proved or dissporoved? The OP, who is obviously not a native English speaker, might just have done a great service to the community.
Can anybody else confirm or deny this?
White & NerdyIs this actually true?

As I said in the other thread on here about this, this bug makes no sense, other games have save files bigger than 4165kb. My FIFA 11 save is above 4400kb and Smackdown vs Raw is over 7700kb, so why does GT5 have this limit when other games don't.
My GT5 file is in the region of 3200kb on my main account, which has lots of museum cards, over 900 paints and about 690 cars, but my file size today is less than it was yesterday. I just can't work out what's going on, it's a strange one alright.
Is this actually true?
PS3 uses Fat32 file format which has a limitation of 4MB cluster. Your other save files that are bigger than 4MB are actuallt multiple files designed to workaround that environment. Little Big Planet had the same problem at launch.

I think you are confusing cluster size and max file size and then confusing MB with GB...
I don't see how a cluster size would affect file save (as files are made up of multiple custers all the time) and SMALLER cluster size is usually the desireable direction to go anyway as it wastes less space with partially empty clusters. Generally cluster size is determined by overall size of the drive and I don't think I have ever seen someone choose cluster sizes over 512kb.
4MB clusters would mean a LOT of wasted space becuase every 1byte file would waste 3.999999 MB of empty space... you would end up wasting on average 2MB of empty space in a half filled cluster for every single file on your system...
4GB is the max file size of a FAT32 partitioned drive and I suspect what you are thinking of... that would have nothign to do with this problem though...
