Ever pass a Zonda in a Honda? Ever make a RUF look ruff cruising by it on the Nurburgring's famous straight in a rotary? đź‘Ť

Cars with 2.0 liters or less are fun to drive and can be wicked fast. Which brings me to the question at hand. What car model is the best of the best? Which car will rein the king of wee-little displacement?

(The poll includes versions that are tuned or pre-tuned and are meant for the whole range of cars pertaining to that model of car ex. Civic SIR-II, Civic Type-R, Spoon Civic would just be under Civic.)

I vote RX-7! Handles awesome and is just a great all around car!

EDIT: Elise added thanks to Daan!
EDIT: Caterham, Suzuki, and Other added thanks to Famine, I think!

Voted for MR-S.
Tuned one has all that you need - Acceleration, handling. It remains some skill - driven unproperly is very nervous and wild.

Holy **🤬** I can not believe I forgot Colin C's wonder machine! Sorry guys you will have to settle for the above choices... :embarrassed:

(unless anybody knows how to edit the poll options now đź’ˇ )

I'm a bit of a fan of the AWD/4WD/'whatever they are' brigade. The RX-7 is legendary, but I like the STi VI R coupe. (If it would fit I'd say the 22B, but it's over 2L displacement). Mind you the S2000 is not far off for value either... Decisions, decisions. Oh this internal conflict!

Oh, I'll just take a Tommy Kiara ZZ-II. Or an F-16. Either way they're both bullets.

I voted the RX-7, but if I had to chose I would pick the Suzuki GSX-R/4 because it's fun blowing away a Zonda LM:mischievous:.

-> Of all the 2.0L cars, I have more S2000's on my garage than any car of it class range. I voted for the S2K. (:

Common now guys we all know the best cars under 2.0L's is a RX7, they handle completely balanced, have the best accelaration and power/weight ratio. For instance I got my 2002 Mazda RX7 Spirit R Type A all the way tuned with 638hp and only a little over 1000Kgs to have a top speed of 276.89 with the nos, a 9.5 second 1/4 mile, and I did a 6.21.xxx time on the Nurburgring, and only a 1.06.xxx on the midfeild with it:sly: . So all in all it almost has the performance of a JGTC for $31.000:tup: with the little tuning costs. Oh and of course because they use holy Rotary engines which are the best engines in the world hahahahaha!

The other cars I feel are the best in GT4 under 2.0L's are the Lotus Motorsport Elise, and the Audi 1.8 TT Quattro awesome car for the ring my freinds:drool: .

I wish Colin had been around to design the Elise, mostly because that would mean we may have had a few more years of his F1 innovations.

I voted for the Elise only as a worthy representative to one of Colin's true works of art, the Elan.

Also forgot the Hatchiroku...

So what if Initial D gave it bad rap? It's a fun little car to drive.

What about the Opel Tigra? I have so much fun tuning and driving that car. Its been a while so I may be mistaken, but Ive tuned it to about 172hp and the thing drives fantastically. It may not be the fastest car of the bunch but it would get my vote!

Oh bloody hell I almost forgot about the RS200 road legal version it is also one of the best supercars under 2.0 liters It won me the Laguna Seca endurance, and it's acceleration is quick ass hell, and it can go off road so this beauty definintly gets my vote:drool:

Sorry guys, :nervous: but I didn't want to have too many cars on the poll so I tried to get all the key players. If I missed some, oh well! There are plenty of nice cars to choose from.:)

Opel Tigra???

i cant believe how many people are voting for hairdressers cars!!!

i voted the rx7 but would have prefered my avatar :)

Well, if I can't have the RS200, I'd go for a EVO VIII, a '91 RX-7, and a 22B (close enough, 2.2 litres. :D)

For a race car, It would be leaps and bounds the Lancia Delta S4.

I know It doesn't really count but my favorite car with a displacement under 2.0 liters is Castrol Tom's Supra, just add a Stage 4 turbo and you got 889 hp. Not too many cars have 444 hp per liter!

Voted Impreza because I love the car and I'm voting out of "favorite" category and not "best."

However, if it were "Best" there is no doubt in my mind that the RX7 would be the winner. đź‘Ť
Runner up on that would be the S2000 (in my opinion).
However, the Evo would probably out-do the S2000 on lap time but on handling or feel the S2K would take the prize.

If we had more tuners in the game and the "Techno Spirits MRS" was in the game, that would easily be my favorite because I love Toyota and if you know what car I'm talking about you would agree that it is the ultimate 2.0L Toyota. đź‘Ť

Btw, I'm glad to see this poll and thread went up.
+rep for bringing up a great subject in the GT4 forum (one so good I'm suprised it hasn't been posted before). đź‘Ť

Kent, what engine did Techno Spirits put in the MRS? I can't recall.

I voted the MR-S, but would rather it be all the MR2s, as I love driving around all of em. Course, I am biased having an MR2 ;)

Seriously though, the MR-S with the supercharger on and N3 tires is just nice to drive. Progressive break away, balanced, and just fun.
