Btw, I'm glad to see this poll and thread went up.+rep for bringing up a great subject in the GT4 forum (one so good I'm suprised it hasn't been posted before). đź‘Ť

Thanks Kent! :)

I guess next time I'll have to add more options if I do another poll!
Sorry for all the guys whos absolute favorite car didn't make it to the list.:guilty:

Keep on posting!

(the Techno Spirits MR-S had a 1.8 liter Celica motor in it, but I believe they made a stroked version that was in fact two liters.)

BTW: I was expecting someone to to vote for the Integra and Celica GT-4, tough crowd!

Well, I just took the time to watch the "Touge Showdown 2" with the MR-S (although I would like it if I had the 200 touge video).

And with that in mind, yes, the "TechnoPro Spirits MR-S" runs with a 190 HP celica ZZ2 engine. đź‘Ť
It also runs at about 910KG and to keep those tires hidden there's a beautiful widebody kit. đź‘Ť

As I mentioned before, if this car was in GT4 I would love it. If it was replicated as well as teh Amuse R1 I wouldn't use anything but those two cars (the Amuse R1 and the MRS).
Truly an amazing car.

All that aside, my 2.0L choice, despite being voted on already is really torn between several cars.
The RX7 FD is amazing and probably the fastest of the group. The Evo MR is also fast as heck but it doesn't handle as well as the RX7 or the S2000. On that note, the S2000 is one of the best handlers in the game but is weak on power. And of course I can't forget my Spec C Impreza... Great all arounder but compared to the others it is off pace. :ouch:

There's no tie for "best"... The RX7 FD takes that easily.
For favorite though,
I'd have to say that's a question I can't answer (except with a hasty vote in this poll).

I also was torn between many cars! I love RX-7's, I love Honda's, my username (and real life car) is an EG CIvic!

Brain...Over....Heating.. :dunce:

Figured it was the 2ZZ-GE. Same swap I want to do with an MR-S when I get my hands on one. Its what Toyota should have had an option for to begin with, since it falls right into the bay.

I need to get the Touge Showdown with it, I've only seen bits and pieces from BMi stuff.. speaking of BMi, is it just me or does their narrator guy know nothing about cars and just reads a sorta okay translation of a script? Cause he just says really random crap sometimes.

hmmm... No one voted for the newcomers.

offtopic: That is the earlier version of the Spirit MR-S. They have a different car in the newer Japanese touge showdowns. Can be veiwed on youtube, under Touge, just sort it with date addded and it should be on the first couple pages.:)

Pug 205 T16 isn't in the list? what a shame. it has best sides of bot MR and AWD.. anyways, I voted for Lotus Elise, can't go wrong with that one.

I agree on the Ford RS200, which I just raced today. It's a wild machine that loves to go so far on the outside of the corner maintaining wide open throttle and grip above all else. I also kinda like that it swings out from under you if you don't grab it by the scruff of the neck.

Now I'm sad I voted for the RX-7:(. Wish I could vote again.

Sorry about that we had some late entries into the poll. Due to popular demand. Wish I could unvote you or somthing. :guilty:

I have included some links to videos of 2.0 liter cars battling each other and against higher displacement beasts! (BMI clips, includes clip of the newest Spirit MR-S in action, which I know Kent would like to see. Unfortunatly it is up against the MCR Skyline. :nervous: )

Hope you all enjoy! :)

why is there only two votes for INTEGRAS there beasty little cars, the only reason why its not as fast as the other cars is that , all the other cars have alot of turbo, also they're either RWD or AWD.
the integra is quite fast if u think about it, 1.8 LItre vtec engine which generates almost 200 horses (without a turbo). the only downside to this car is that its FF.

if i could vote for another car it would be the lotus. Beautiful piece of machine drove it once in the real world, better than any roll coaster ride

For me would be an Audi S3 that I built for Track Meet/Time Attack. I post the quickest times in tracks like Infineon and Tsukuba with it.

Honda Civic all the way!!
EK9 Type-r
1.6ltr 185bhp 0-60 in 5.7 secs (one of the fastest production front wheel drive cars in the world from 0-60)

Infact it beats most of those cars in the poll to 60! However i dont know if the game developers have made this realistic in game as FF cars in GT4 seem slow, so its like being racist to a displacement on which i dont agree.

Is that even possible?:dunce: Considering that a Rx-8 does it in 6.3sec(from C/D), but the Civic is lighter. So I'm not that sure.

I'm almost sure that's not correct. :indiff:
After searching the net just now I didn't find anything to suggest the Type R could go under 6 second on 0-60mph.

Maybe someone else would like to look into that? :D

In any case, I just don't think of the Civic as a contender in the 2.0 class when it comes to the competition we are talking about... I mean, the Evo 8 MR, whether you like it or not, is super fast considering its displacement. So fast that I would consider it in a class above cars like the Civic. :ouch:

When I searched "ek9 type r 0-60" on google, this came up
http://www.easyinsurance4you.co.uk/car_pages/honda_civic_type_r.htm
The numbers even match the ones he said, so I think he got his info from here.

After careful consideration, I can conclude that you're all wrong.
