Thought this '83 Trueno in yellow looked especially hot

Thought I'd try putting an image into a post since I've never done it before, and I liked this R mod (don't ask me why I spent 80,000cr on a 174hp micro box...)

You can see the Bridgestone written across the front, not so apparent is the extension off the back of the roof to reduce drag like the Deltas have.

I like that car, but it really ticks me off. It has just too much HP to enter it in the second K Cup (I think that's it) race. That's the race that earns you a Demio A-Spec if you come in first. Now, that car is awesome!

Not only does it sound very cool when you get the race exhaust, it can upgrade to 277 HP which is more than enough to win races with 389HP because of the awesome way it handles when race mod is performed.

As great as photo realism in modern games is, looking at these now makes you appreciate lesser graphics as art. Long live no-def!

The old Mini was great when race modified... stuck like hell to the road, too :D

I really wish PD would bring this back, I had hours of fun race modifying cars to see what they turned into...

Truer words have never been spoken!

More PICS! Get them flowing, I'm gonna have an orgasm about these pics! LMAO!!

The S2000 GT1 is definitely one of my favourites in dark grey. I don't like the version they put in later games - too many flaps, slits, wings, etc. Clean look racecars are best 👍

Of the ones I can do myself, I would say the Lister Storm, '90 RX-7, Stratos, and most any sedan or coupe that can transform into a touring car. But the M12 LM, 155 Touring Car, Cobra Daytona Coupe, and Calibra Touring cars look good out of the box!

I don't think it's that they're sharp as much as it is that they're small, which makes them look sharp. Probably used an unmentionable application which lets you turn your PC into a PS, and then took and edited screen captures to get all those pics organized.

Since Mati PL hasn't visited GTP since 2007, I took the liberty of answering for him...

He could have also just used a ps2, you can make ps1 graphics smooth on the ps2. ;)

These are my personal favourites:

What do you think?

Edit: I know the orange Concept Car isn't race modded, I forgot to take it out.

I need to see them better! Sorry for the hassle of the request. Funny already to spot the Accord Wagon, though, just wish I could see them all better.

Xenn, that's probably just your memory misfiring because the stock TRD 3000GT was so badass looking. It is RMable and I think (though it's hard to tell) that the one in the above image is indeed race modified.

Indeed it is.

I love the Accord Wagon, it looks pretty damn sexy.

Here's a pic of a Honda Civic (I know the pic is from Forza, but the same livery is in GT2, and this is a high resolution pic so)

Here is another pic, this of a Castrol Mugen Accord (from off google):

When I get GTPremium, I'm going to have to change my name to Mugen-Nut

I prefer the black parts of this one for some reason.

A research conducted that the black parts was actually a glitch. 💡

Yes, agreed. Shame that's a hidden car, it would be great to use in normal gameplay.
