Woohoo! I hope they include some DTM style kits for the Alfa. The 787B sounds pretty badass, and I am super excited for the 95 Cobra R! :D The Challenger looks kinda cool too. The rest of the cars are meh for me.

Cup 'n' Pasta'd from the News page:

Road-car wise, the weakest of the packs so far (another similar Holden, two ugly tuner cars, an Ibiza by a different look and name), but I don't mind the Mustang, and the Alfa gets full marks if we get some quasi-DTM bodykit. But 3 out of four of these race cars are incredibly strong.

Still... S1 and 787B, oh hell yes :D

Whee!:
1991 Mazda #55 Team Mazdaspeed 787B
1986 #2 Audi Sport quattro S1
2011 Panoz #050 Panoz Racing Abruzzi

Okay:
1992 Alfa Romeo 155 Q4
1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R
2011 Holden HSV GTS
2011 Volkswagen Polo GTI

Yawn:
2010 Dodge Quinton "Rampage" Jackson Challenger SRT8
2011 #2 Audi Sport North America R18 TDI
2011 Bentley Platinum Motorsports Continental GT

Also, I am going to take a guess that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is the one who gave himself the nickname "Rampage."

I just hope they let us swap the Brera V6 into the 155. They totally messed up in having the V8 option for the Guiletta.

I don't like turbos, damn it!

some true classics mixed with some slightly updated models, that challenger seem so out of place!

A polo is long overdue though, when there's almost 7 Golf models and not one Polo, actually liking the Panoz it looks so crazy and out there, and more alfa love too!

Even the S1?

You're a madman if you reply "Yes.".

It's cool yeah but I'll probably never buy it in game. Come to think of it I probably wont buy the 787B in game either. I only maintain about 1 million credits so I tend to limit my expensive purchases.

I'm most excited about the Alfa 155 - it brings back memories of my GT2 days. I also like the quattro and the Cobra R - those will be fun cars to boot around in! 👍

However, I was hoping for more street cars, and more cars that weren't related to what's already in the game. The Bentley, Challenger, and Holden are nice, but I would rather have seen all-new models as opposed to tarted-up versions of the existing ones.

All in all, it's a good pack though.

Lovely pack indeed, cant wait for the 787 and S1 of course. The 155 should be fun to play around with.

Excited about the R18 and Abruzzi, along with the Alfa, Mustang, and Holden.

The rest are eh. Yes even the S1.

I always wondered why T10 does not release a pack that has all of a series. For instance the Muscle Car pack was awesome. I wish there was a BTCC pack, a DTM pack, etc. etc. with a nice series of cars that you could run a race with.

The mix and match makes sense in a way to cater to all I guess...

My least favorite pack so far. Not sure why...nothing jumps out at me. The Mustang is good, but my least favorite body style, and the VW is decent, but my least favorite model.

I am glad some folks are happy.

Am I missing why everyone is drooling over the 787B?

Hey, and the the '95 Mustang complete the Mustang collection. They game will now have every generation of Mustang.

These packs are getting better. Although...I'm not sure why the call it the ALMS Pack because...the 2011 R18 was a European LeMans and I don't think it ever entered ALMS. The 787B existed before ALMS did. And the Panoz...tested for the 12 Hours of Sebring two years ago. I don't know if it ever saw any races, though.

But....T10 can call it whatever they want.

yeah go figure, now they just need an FB Rx7 and they will have all of those too.:embarrassed:

Doesn't matter. It's something you want. :)

Ok, let me rephrase it. Why is the 787B such a popluar car. Its praised in GT5 so much, and now everyone is having an orgasm about it being in FM4. It won Le Mans as the first JP car to do so. Is that it?

Just trying to understand.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I can tell you why I love it.

It's beautiful (beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but yeah. It's beautiful.)
It's unique (only rotary-engined car to win Le Mans.)
It sounds amazing (4 rotor wankel will give you beautiful nightmares.)
It has historical cred (only Japanese car to win Le Mans outright, and it wasn't even one of the big three of Toyota, Nissan or Honda.)

Makse sense. Thanks, thats what I was looking for.

Personally for me it looks cool, sounds incredible, has a 4rotor motor (which is out of the norm) and did I say it sounds bad ass? Why yes I did and it deserves a 2nd mention because of the amazing sound it produces

I didn't get it at first and then I saw some videos on it dropping my jaw

When that onboard video of a lap around le mans came out, I must have watched it a good half dozen times straight. There's few cars that do that for me and the s1 is another (outside of me being an audi fanboy and a fan of the rally dominating car of course :P )

Anything above R3 is really out of my comfort zone, so i'm not really too excited about this pack...but I will buy the 787 and proceed to drive it recklessly, just to hear that wonderful noise it makes! :D I'll probably pick up the Mustang and Audi too.

Had I seen this earlier, I would have told you pretty much the exact same thing Populuxe did. :P

That R26B, man. The fact it was outlawed the next year adds to it's image.

Same with me, but I use TC till I can get used to the cars.

The 787b is a beautiful car but didn't use it much in GT5 so it's a bonus to have but not overly exciting. Until I watched the video, I was really only excited about the Mustang even though it is the least desirable body style after the Mustang II. I got to work on a SVT Cobra though so there some appreciation there. And I really have nothing good to say about Audi but that car looks brilliant. I want to take it around the track. The rest though are bland like most of the packs so far.
I expect one of them to eventually have a car I don't think I can live without.

It needs to be pointed out to those wondering "Why?!" about Quinton's Charger (I actually should have seen this coming to be honest, not so much the Charger as I haven't the slightest clue what cars he owns... but something), he'll be the one with the lap to beat in next month's KotT.
