At first I thought you were right on, but I decided to go check it out and it's definitely NOT Spa!

I'm starting to suspect that they might be showing us the Ring.
Maybe+Ring.png

Said no one ever that actually spent time playing.
I guess you were right after all. Someone on the official FM forum took two spa pictures.
I hope the first sentence makes sense. my english is not good :)
Oh no. I don't who to believe. I'm going to guess it could be the ring, but did it ever have that type of fence at the straight away where you go fast? Like the one in the picture?

After seeing @Zelalem's link, I think that is from Spa @HAL20XX. But I wouldn't lie, I thought that was the ring as well. :)

As far as the whole recycled models part goes, 1970 Chevelle. I posted it elsewhere, but it's just a gussied up version of the inaccurate model from before.

I hope the Corsa is available on its own and that we get some open wheel cars in future DLC packs.

If not... ah well, I can't moan about what I haven't bought.

I was only reminiscing about the RS2 the other day and here it is.

It genuinely doesn't phase me that they give us cars from previous games, cars are cars so even if it's not a new car I'll be happy to give it a spin. Sure, some of them should have been there from day one, but they gave us some new cars in the line up that shipped with the game. They would've been moaned at if the default cars were all previously seen in the series.

Also, we have the Celica which had rally options in 4 and the Punto is a tarmac rally car too. I'm beginning to sense they're telling us something - that there's a rally expansion planned for this game. A track game doesn't really need new to the series rally bodywork for the Datsun and Peugeot in the last pack?

Turn 10 RAPAGE coming to you by Wormburner! BBC! Bring your white sluts to the slaughter as he is Turn 10's MONSTER!!!!!

Turn 10 to me have lost it, They idea what the fans want and no idea how to make the game better.............NFS online....Yeah OK Turn 10 & Wormburner....thats exactly what we want.....

Forza is FAR better than GT but you know what....they are so far up thier own arse i hope they fail miserably. I would not be unhappy if MS set them free. Dirty robbing bastards !Set the worm free!!!!
They release their best Forza to date, and you say they have lost it? They clearly have an idea what us fans want and don't want. We don't want ported recycled cars from Forza 1, 2, 3 and 4 on a next gen machine. We want them to go forward with remodeled cars for the new gen, remodeled and laser scanned tracks for the new gen, much improved physics and tire models for the new gen, improved animations for the new gen, better shadowing, better lighting, better reflections, manufacturer wheel paint options, new tracks, original favorite tracks, a diverse line up of cars, new and old, car porn with the best graphics on a racer on console, attention to detail, and most importantly, a game that is so ****ing fun to race, it will make your head spin.

They sold that to the most of us...glad we didn't get your copy.

They took 1 set forward and 2 steps back with 5, I would probably agree in saying that 5 was amazing if PCARS didn't exist, when comparing them unfortunately it embarrasses Forza Motorsport 5 if it can follow through with it's promised features

How is Project CARS coming along now? Still in beta? The trailers look great. I wonder how the AI is coming along.

I'm happy wth Forza but you won't catch me going to the PCARS and AC threads and pretending my game is better.

Microsoft never give Turn 10 the time to do everything and graphics are always the most resource hungry aspect. If they failed to make a full 1080p 60fps game like almost all other launch games, then Microsoft would've looked really stupid if their first party studio couldn't deliver the promised land. It's unfortunate but then Microsoft haven't got the multitude of first party studios like Sony have and therefore allow a five year development like they did with GT5.

As a basis for the new gen, Forza is a dang good start.

Trans AM, FF, 33 Stradale, NOVA SS and MC12 all get thumbs up in my book.
I am so happy to see that the 2002 Trans Am and 66 Nova are back. However it just disappoints me so much the fact that we would have to purchase these cars in a DLC pack after having them in F4. :guilty:

By the time I get the game I guess I will have to consider the season pass. I have never purchased a season pass for Forza yet.

Boo, it is Spa... I was simply driving around in exterior view, so I had a feeling that it may have partially been my viewing angle.

If you buy Forza 5, you pretty much are buying all the cars that were in Forza 3...and Forza 4...and Forza 2...and Forza 1...AGAIN.

I don't have to play GT6 to display the opinions I've said

Ohh, I see now. You're allowed to post opinions about a game you've never played and you're all good. However I can't post about FM5. A game I have a couple hours of time playing, along with every iteration that came before it. You can post your opinions, but mine don't count. Thanks for revealing your name should really be FanboyFMGuy.

No, that's just a entirely untrue statement. You can find people all over the internet that say the same thing about the graphics. And I'm now up to 3 former FM5 players on my FL who have since gotten GT6 and say they wish they wouldn't have bothered with FM5 and the One. Of course those people are more concerned with racing than "car porn" fluff so that explains that. GT6 isn't perfect by any stretch, but it's a real racing game.

That said, both PD and Turn 10 better hope PCars doesn't deliver. They're both in trouble if they do.

Don't confuse them with facts......

I Don't need to play GT6 to have a opinion on the content moved over to the game because I know it's the same exact content....

You however were speaking on the physics and graphics of Forza Motorsport 5 which required you to play it to have a good leg to stand on.

This is complete bull....

Hell even InsideSimRacing says GT6 doesn't compete with Forza 5 as a real racing game when it comes to physics and AI.

PCars has also been in development for a much longer time than Forza 5... has less cars, less features(like upgrading, painting, casual friendly assists, is only targeting 60 fps and is not a priority and less of a sim when it comes to physics.)

The fact that PCars hasn't established a name for itself on consoles and doesn't have casual friendly assists is going to hurt it when it launches unfortunately.

What do you want?

Qualifying? Flags? Penalties? EDIT - Weather (Night hasn't been in since Forza 1.)

These have never been in Forza Motorsport so how is that two steps back?

Let's do the math here and I'll be fair with you.

Cars. 1 step back.
Tracks. 1 step back.
Track model accuracy. 1 step forward.
Car model accuracy. 1 step forward.
Car sounds. 1 step forward.
Fuel Consumption. 0 steps anywhere(still as bad as one step back.).
Pit stops. 0 steps anywhere.
Physics. 1 step forward.
Models. 1 step forward.
Materials and Textures. 1 step forward.
Career mode. 1 step back.
Multiplayer. 1 step back.
AI. 1 step forward.
Tuning. 1 step forward.
Upgrading. 0 steps anywhere.

8 steps forward
4 steps back
and 3 steps nowhere.

There are definitely a lot of things to gripe about in Forza but it's not as bad as you make it sound. I'd say they've done a damn good job in two years and on a brand new console.

MC12 for me & that's it. I can live without the Z8, FF, & 33 Stradale.

That's incorrect. It deploys at 80mph just like the Murcielago's. Go to 1:38 & you can see it rise.

Thats the reventon roadster. You'll find it has slightly different features than the base model.

Really doesn't bother me, that was FM4 this is FM5 and there is always the option to not buy it. GT3 had less cars than GT2, and it was painfully clear why GT5 had more than GT4. I'll wait and see whats been done to the new models before throwing a hissy fit.
