Will you be sending invites to reserve racers once qualifying is done in order to fill the grid? There will be a few waiting I think. Leyba probably has 80 F1 friends we can tap in to if needed. Some very fast guys like mustardaddict.

When we see spaces are free in the lobby.
Our first Reserve driver is AYRTONSCHUMACHER i know him very good he is really fast.
But i think 12 from us drive or??

For sure we race on time regardless. I think we will fill the grid quickly. It's going to be awesome with so many fast F1 guys in 1 room. I wish I knew how to create a youtube highlight video from the replay. Can someone point me in the right direction?

12 is a good limit to set with the frame rate issues/lag issues. I do believe "the glitch" is still alive and well.

Got another FOOT of snow. Bit of work, but good exercise. Amazing Illinois go a huge tornado the other day. Just a few hours drive down there.

Just finished another 40 lap session with 'patatoechip'. Still feeling more confident on the racing hards, managed a 1.05.495, most of the time 1.06 to 1.07

Made less errors, and getting more consistantly, ofcourse with a full grid, this will be something else

Yeah I wouldn't expect Leybob to do better than 1:07s or so. He races all the time, doesn't care about not being immortal. Racing is for the fun of it. 👍

My cpu is relatively new; so it can handle the HD editing.

A highlights video with camera changes is tricky that's why I just edit the whole race add replays and such. Even before Youtube allowed my account to have videos longer than 15 minutes, I was editing the whole race. I haven't come up with a way to edit just highlights w/o everyone giving a very detailed description of all their "action" during the race. In theory you go capture just those sections. Then each new highlight you'd do would have to have time re-synched between camera shots. I don't like using GT5's graphics, but that requires a lot more effort.

You can see my progression in my race videos as I figured out what I can and can't do. The three recent ones were all done with the faster computer and updated Vegas. In theory I could have done most of the stuff back then that I do now, but my computer was painfully slow. A preview frame per 1.5s kind of slow. It would render, but a race took 36 hours. My new computer takes 6 hours.

I don't think either one of us has. My best is a 1:01.1xx and Immortal said his best was in the low 1:00's. I'm sure it's possible, but it would take a crazy-perfect lap.

I think that we have a very good race.
But i know in the race i must drive slower then i practise.
Because thats to risky to drive so fast.

I think you need to take a week off of practice to let everyone else catch up. Go out watch a movie, plan a trip, go fishing.

Thanks to all for the setup advice. While not surprising, it's kind of all over the map. I'll have to try them out in an online room for practice today. Ohh yeah, F'ing Sony! Come on a little advance notice here. What kind of dog and pony show do they got going on over there? Now I have to change the dates on the spreadsheet.
