I had a closer look at my connection.

I choosed one server and did 10 tests.

Ping times / uploadspeed stayed the same: 38 / 0,96

But the downloadspeed varied from 20.86 to 7.60!

The "speedometer" indicates downspeeds up 50!
But it seems that the indicated result is the lowest
speed during the test?

Ok guys then thats sorted. I will host the practice race on thursday. Artman is safe from Bernard Matthews and his BOOTIFUL chicken. And I think we're safe from lag when I live stream. When I've played with ppl in my chatbox no1 complained. Just to put your minds at ease I can broadcast on thursday to see if we lag at all. Safe.

yo gaz, that inceident at 37 min on your vid with me was wierd. looked like a glitch or sumat coz if you watch the replay from my car i dont move and it looks like you swerve in to me. but from your replay it looks wrong but i would never ram some1 like that ever. and if i did ide defo remmember.:crazy:

Here is the stewards report for the race at Spa:

Turn 1 incident involving gazziboy, the stewards have decided to not award any penaltys as gazziboy looks to have braked very late and put himself in that position.

Incident at blonchimont involving S1CK_AS5A5SIN_87 and gazziboy, the stewards have also decided to not penalize anyone as it looks like S1CK_AS5A5SIN_87 held his line on the inside and didn't move to the left to block gazziboy.

CasNuerburg gets a 15 second penalty for causing an avoidable collision with toolo4sno on lap 3.

CasNuerburg gets another 15 second penalty for causing another collision with mustardaddict on lap 39.

A warning goes to gazziboy and cbstjan for repeatedly going off the race track at pouhon, a few times is ok but if its repeated throughout the race then it is unacceptable.

Lastly, this was the second race where i saw [people going backwards in qually to try and save time by not doing the full lap. It is distracting to others and if we see this again, we will add 20 seconds to your total time. We are not mentioning any names but i saw at least 2 people do it.

You mean blocking/defending? That's the only 1 move rule I know of and we already have it. It says in the rules that you can't swerve around the track to block a car, and you can't swerve to avoid someone using your draft to catch up. We had some issues with that before. Problem is, some people don't read the rules and play by their own. Luckily, I haven't seen anyone like that as of late though.

That`s my point.I know of the rule.

But some use it clever:
Stay on racing line and make the one move just as the faster car comes close.
If it works: the car infront even get a handy push.
When not: then the overtaker gets a penalty.

I always indicated clearly where I would stay on Kemmel straight.

I will check the replay and list how often that has been done.

This sucks badly.But still:

I´m fast enough now, that I get into these problems.And after a while people will know me, and I will know how to handle them.
 
I had some of my birthdaycake, walked the dog,and calmed down. ;)

Then had a closer look at the replay:

-Lap 1/Start:
started 7th, after turn 1 I was 13th.Ok, gazzi outbreaked himself,and suffered from that, but what should I say. :ill:

-Lap 3 collision with toolo:
This is where I strongly disagree.
He lost control of his car and tried to block me.:grumpy:
I even went to the inside onto the grass! Just have a look one lap later there with mustard to see what I mean.

-Lap 5 (end of @ chicane):
Didn`t mention it, since I had no notice of any protest, so here it is:
S1ck spun me off at the end of the chicane.
To see what could have been, have a look at end of Lap 37 with Shakunee and me.I let him room to recover.

-Lap 39 collision with mustard:
Didn`t feel that extreme whilst driving, but it`s 100% my fault.
Whilst trying to overtake at the last possible moment, I moved to agressive, lost the rear and took him off.:guilty:
I answered a PM from him, and expressed that.
Have a look at lap 22+23. That is how it should have been.


The Laps with Dalzi where the highlight of the race.👍

BTW: after watching replay so long I noticed, that none of you seem to stay on the accellerator while braking.For me that is a natural thing to do, but that has probably to do with real car driving...
Is probably slower here in the game,bur I cannot get rid of it.
(looks cool because of the exaust fumes thow... :cool: )

To race Stewards:
Since the Protest time is over, let the result as it is.
But it should be fairer in future, that the drivers involved should be notified.
( As in real life )

Hope the Nürburgring is not sold to a Saudi and closed for racing....
There was a demonstration-car-corso yesterday in Mainz.(Where the local gouverment is located, that is in charge of the ring)

Sorry Cas me and ArtMannn have checked it very much alonso have lose incredible time because it.
And Rich almost spun out on the grass because it, that have looks incredible dangerous.

Lap 6. Looks like Sick lagged. He took me out. Have a look at my broadcast. I know we cant help it when lag happens, its just the nature of the internet.

I cant blame anyone for sometimes going off the track in that turn. Just couldnt get round that corenr all night. So fairplay.

You could have passed me 2 times if you went to outside. You also would have been inside at Fagnes. I fully admit to losing time in Pouhon with a slide, which allowed you catch up a lot (u went over the green pads like many seem to which aided also). I just was trying to keep control of my car at that point, keeping a position wasn't high on my list. It kind of looked to me as though you we're going grass bound either way. No hard feelings, but a move outside would have been good for both of us in hindsight. Maybe the timing didn't look like that was going to work.

Either way the penalty doesn't do me a hill of beans, my race was effectively over. Now that I wear my tires at a more even rate, a spin like that kills the rears. I see now why Artmannn complained of that long ago. My rears were always much more healthy than fronts; so a rear tire eating spin never mattered. Now I get it.

I sound like a broken record but here it goes again, send your incidents after the race or on Monday as we look at the replay on Tuesday, that's enough time for people to review their incidents before sending a complaint. We cannot look at every lap, every corner and every incident, i hope that's the last time i say that.

:lol: really, from your uploaded video it looks like you pulled a Grosjean, from 9th to third??? And you compare your move to cbastjan but he qualified 3rd and you nearly took him out, he took that tight line because i was on the outside and he left enough room for me. Maybe i am being over critical here but it looks to me like you tried to gain too many places at the start, and out-braked yourself and people in front of you are looking forward and taking caution into the hairpin and you just appeared from nowhere on the inside. I also didn't see any rear damage on your car so i don't know who you said rammed you from behind in that video.
Bear in mind, this is just my view. But i don't think its fair to expect others to get penalized when someone goes so aggressive into turn 1 and things don't work out. Here is a reminder, in this case cbastjan is Alonso but he gets lucky:
 
Cas, I dont hate or fight here with drivers, its not in my racing style, and were square as long as you dont ram me again.

As far as Gaziboy's start, it looked like a Romain impersonation. :sly: Your entrepreneurial spirit reminds me much of the Roman From Grand theft Auto 4. That being said what's Rockstar North up to, they live in your country (referring to 75% of the people here)? Sneak over there with full camouflage and peep in their windows to catch a glimpse of GTA V!

Oh and while looking at our Spa replay I got all nostalgic and watched an old race I did with D-UNEXPECTED where he did a 4:40.1 on the Nordshleife, those were the days when you could run with your foot flat to the floor through Pflanzgarten in the F2007, before Kaz got angry and made those corners tighter with an update, cant remember what version.
 
In the heat of the moment you dont know exactly what went on. So if I said in my video someone rammed me I was wrong. But whatever. Would have made the move on another day.

IMMORTAL takes pouhon nearly flat out and i have same setup :bowdown: I have to lift and brake

Oh and toolo, i watch F1 on Sky, not BBC and here is the intro, not great but thought you might want to know as you are a video Mannn:

That opener from Sky Sports F1 HD is awesome.

They have a great team of commentators as well, which makes the difference.

Yours is very similar to mine. Mine's a bit faster though, by a tiny amount.
 
i'll try it out , but witjout abs i think for the first evening .
Ip you cal also try with abs .
i often drive stock cars with low grip tires , there are a few aliens , Ti-Tech85 , elmatalumati (he could reach 2nd place without abs at+0.087 from *TC-Amo) in the grand valley reverse viper TT .
