Well, well, well. Looks like I was right on my info after all that the F430 CS would be coming out very soon.

UCP.com
Ferrari is preparing the launch of the super sports car F 430 Challenge Stradale at the Paris Motor Show coming fall. The car is set to rival Porsche’s upcoming GT3 RS, which is equally due for launch this year.

The Stradale is about 100 kg lighter than the standard F 430. While the latter is powered by a 4.3 litre V8 engine producing 490 HP, the light weight Stradale‘s performance is said to rate around 520 HP with the same engine.

The photos are showing a prototype during road testing in Maranello. The pictured test car still has some tape at the front end for disguise. At the rear end clearly visible, the exhaust pipes are located further up in the middle and not on the side like in the F 430

I like this car, and can't wait to see it's final product.

It should be interesting to see what Fifth Gear has to say about it. They reviewed it in their episode today (9x03) but I havent seen it yet.

I just made my pants sticky, damn, excuse me while I go change my pants...

Amazing looking so far, especially the back end, can't wait to see the specs for the final product. 👍

Yes it is still swearing and the reason we have a swear filter is that GT Planet is a family sight, as such words of this nature are not permitted in any form or context.

You agreed to this yourself when you joined and accepted the terms of GTPs AUP and the fact that the filter kicked in should have indicated to you not to try and get around it.

AUP
You will not use profanity in our forums, and will neither post with language or content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or sexually suggestive nor link to sites that contain such content.

Please do not repeat this or attempt to get around the swear filter again, as we do take this very seriously and future attempst will result in action.

On such a serious post, I know I'm embarrassed for you... :scared:

Totally agree with Blazin' the 360 was a much more pleasing shape... it just flowed beautifully, one of the very best recent models.

I hate the 430 and I hate this car, the 360 was so much cooler.

While I don't hate the 430, I do agree that the 360 was way cooler. I wish there was a car that looks like the 360 but goes the like 430.

They took a nice looking car (the 360) and just made it goofy looking. I don't know what the hell Ferrari was thinking on that one.

This car sucks. F1 paddles are a big nono.
Despite the fact that the car puts out a faster lap time, and that Paddle shifting is proven to be faster than a stick.

Great logic.

While sucking out all the fun when you're driving, which the car was meant to do, imo.

This is a pure-bred race car for the road. It's purpose isn't to provide fun. It's purpose is to be a descendant of a race car which is to go around a track as fast as possible.

Paddles help the driver focus more on driving by making it easier for him.

I'd think that a true manual will help the drive be more intouch with a car. It takes more skill to do right.

Maybe, but to helps the car shift faster, and to make it easier on the driver which will acuire faster lap times, paddle shifters are the obvious choice.

With paddles, it allows the driver to keep both hands on the wheel at all times. Not to mention, moving the stick around the H-Shifter Lay out takes more time than necessary.

How many people will buy a 430 CS and actually take it to track days?

How many will just buy it to show off?

How many people who are going to buy a 430 CS really care about rowing their own anymore?

I think the stick purists never really went for Ferrari anyways, they have never had the most amazing manuals last I heard, that was the Honda Civic/S2000 and BMW 3 series realm.
