If the Enzo had the rear of the 458A Italia does, I would love the Enzo. The Enzo, in stead, has the ugliest rear ever. It does shame to the continuing of the F40/F50 frame.

to each his own, i think the enzo's rear looks alot better than the 458's. the 458 is a beautiful car (i love the agressiveness of the headlight slits/layers?) but i am not a fan of the placement of the 2 scoops on the hood.

Omg, we got to make a poll lol!
You're right, though, to each his own. What makes it more attractive to you?

wellll it might be more of a personal thing...my senior project in school was to model the enzo using solid modeling from a 1:16 scale replica and i guess in the 18 weeks i spent doing it i fell in love with the curves of the car.

more specifically:
*the rear fender scoops set it apart from alot of cars while fully functional
*i think the mesh gap in the rear is just the right size
*the diffuser and exhaust placement is almost perfect (FXX is perfect haa)

I'm not a huge fan of the shape of the 458's rear mesh gaps, the bulkiness of the rear fenders. BUT, i do like the tri-exhaust and diffuser!

If the Enzo had that rear, I'd think it was much more attractive. I hope the FXX makes it to GT5!

@SrRD: Are you playing the "lets turn this into a Ferrari wishlist thread" game? ;)

Haha, no, but if there isn't one, one deserves to be made. What do you think about my Enzo rear debate? Isn't the 458's rear much hotter? Maybe not as much as the F50, but definitely cooler than the Enzo's.

^Yes, the 458's rear hides more, compared to the Enzo. Much like the girl with that tattoo right above her...I'll just stop right there.

I dont think thats a render from gt. Ferrari has its own driving simulator released to the public. It looks similar to that, though the 458 was never in it.

Let me try and shed some light on this...

When I was in Modena earlier in the year I visited Ferrari's official museum near their factory. Inside amongst all the glorious F1 cars, vintage road cars and an Enzo there is a projector that plays video's of Schumacher taking various cars for a test drive around Fiorano in real life. In between these videos it plays a computer generated sequence that at first I thought was GT but on closer inspection it looked a lot like the engine used in Ferrari Challenge.

Basically they showed the car running in real life and then a montage in Ferrari Challenge. So i'm fairly sure the image we see in this video willl be the same scenario, the video is presented almost identically to the others I saw for the F430 Scuderia and 599 etc.

The F458 is almost guaranteed to be added to GT5 as DLC anyway, so really I wouldn't stress about it.

I think Schuey isn't doing himself any favours wearing a tight v-neck muscle vest :dunce:

That's what all ferrari drivers wear. They should have put a few more gold rings and chains on him though, and maybe a bit of fake thick black chest hair wouldnt have gone amiss.

I really don't think it will be DLC, it is basically Ferrari's main car currently so I think they would want PD to put it in with the main game from the start.

Very likely will be in GT5! Let's rewind what was happened with California. Ferrari even put GT5P video to their website. PD and Ferrari must have built a very close relationship.
Go to Virtual Testdrive

Look at how many videos they have put up on youtube lately. They are trying hard to draw media attention. I don't think Ferrari will slip away a chance promoting their new F458. Just wait for Frankfurt and TGS.

Yep definitely DLC. How could they have tested it and recorded the sounds allready. Theres probably only one and i dont think P.D are that close with ferrari to test it allready, even before EVO magazine or any other magazines and Car shows.
Don't be so sure. PD managed to get what they need from Ferrari and Lotus well before their new cars (California and Evora, respectively) were released to the public and tested by magazines, etc. Yes, they weren't in the game initially, but GT5 is still a few months away at the very least, assuming they've already got the data they need from Ferrari, then I don't see why the 458 Italia couldn't be in the game from the initial release.

Not to mention the countless cars in GT4 that weren't out yet(Ford GT & Mustang GT, Elcipse GT, Chrysler 300C) as well as a large amount of concepts.

GT5P had the Nissan GTR even before it was released to the public, remember the black mask? They might have a close relationship with Nissan, but maybe they got a chance to implement the F458 aswell, because of the cooperation with Ferrari for the California.

We will know as soon as the carlist is released.

But the F458 is one sexy car and Schumacher really convinced me that i need one asap. :D Maybe some subliminal messaging going on there, i dont know :D

Watch the California video from about 0:31
Do you think this track could be from GT5? It's very nice looking...

It could be El Captain, and afterwards its the Circuit de la Sarthe. But iam not sure, because there is not much to see from the track.

i think it looks like conceptual artwork, not really a photoshop...but in any case if ferrari did indeed release it, there would be alot more news about it

GT5P had the GTR before it was released because they had a part to play in the design of the car and the in car screen. So they had a test drive before anyone else.
