Pics please @KingKlingeling, I'd be interested to know your thoughts on your brake mod and what's involved!
I'll post some pics tomorrow after work .
I didn't drove that much with the load cell to make a final decission or review at the moment .
better so far : less pedal travel
not sure atm about the pressure , feels great and nearly compared to a real break but its a bit exhausting till I get used to it

the problem I had in the past (when I had the club sports), if you don't have a full rig and you crank the brake pressure up, you end up twisting and hanging onto the wheel just to apply the pressure into the pedal! which is then counter effective!

So far I have been fairly happy with the T500 pedals, but feel like they have no feel for the small pressure, can't really set the max pressure effectively... otherwise in between is ok!

It took a couple weeks for my load cell to "break in". It was really stiff at first and almost difficult to apply 100% braking but eventually it softened up a bit and now feels really really nice but not so stiff that it requires much effort. It turned out to be a lot different than what I was expecting but I've been thoroughly pleased with it and have noticed a marked improvement in my performance. It may sound counterintuitive, but better braking certainly makes you faster (as can be seen by my string of 2nd place finishes with this group). Probably the single best thing you can do to improve your performance. 👍

My CSR Elite pedals don't work like that. The adjustment knob adjusts the sensitivity (how far you must depress to get 100% braking) but it does not adjust the pressure required to make it happen. I thought that's how they worked, but they don't. Basically, the knob makes it so you can get 100% braking at 50% pedal travel, or 75% pedal travel, or whatever you prefer. At first my pedal was as you described, nearly impossible to depress 100%, but eventually it wore in and now it's not that difficult at all.

By "cranking the pressure up", I was referring to adjusting the pedal throw, position set-up etc, the knob does the same thing on the Club sports too.

I fully agree with you on the "improvements in driving" through better braking. I came from a DFGT to the clubsports and GT3 RS, and it was a whole world of difference.

Gotcha. I haven't messed with my "throw" a whole lot. I think I have the brake in a middle notch and have the pedal itself in the highest position so I have a good amount of throw which gives me more precision. I felt like a notch above or below in the positioning would have given me way too little or way too much throw. I want to adjust the throw on my throttle but I recall it was tricky for some reason and I said "F it". I'm considering removing the clutch so I can scoot the brake pedal over more and have a lot more space to move my feet side-to-side.

I've posted next week's car/track combo. We'll toss some SM on the 599 and take it to Apricot Hill. It's a very nice drive around that track, probably nicest car I've driven there.

I think I have the remaining schedule sorted as well. After the 599 we'll take the Enzo on SM to Big Willow and then the 430 Scud on SH to Daytona Road. If enough people have one of the expensive cars we can take it to 80's Brands Hatch the following week. Several people had one of them but I forget which one.

I'm just wondering Brandon. Did you forget that we already took a car to brands? I mean the '80s version isn't THAT different

I'm aware. Technically it will be more of a special event. We've pretty much covered all the good tracks and Brands was very early in the schedule so I don't see an issue with going back. I also think the 80's version is far superior and it seems fitting to take an old car to an old track. We could go to the Nordeschlife but I doubt any of those cars have enough top end for the long straight.

I was actually surprised when I took the Ferrari Daytona (can't think of its actual designation right now :dunce:) to nurburgring. It had plenty of top end for the main straight. That car just keeps surprising me. Of course I'm not sure any of the other perform.

I know one of them has a crap top end, I think it's the 7.5million one.

I recently bought the (7.5m) 250 GT, and was very disappointed with it! It just did not seem to have any ferrari character, and left me feeling I could be driving any 30k car!!!

It still looks good though... As long as it's standing still!

That was my impression too, like a wet noodle. No oomph at all, no character.

The article says it's coming in the next update, which could possibly be tonight. F1 is racing at that track this weekend for the first time in many years, so that would be a nice tie-in.

All depends on broadband, mericans probably have BIGGER bandwidth just because...:P

I'm lucky enough to get infinity, so I'm ok there too.

I live in the middle of nowhere on copper wires probably installed around 6 years after copper was discovered by man.

I'm guessing it'll be no more than 1.2GB... Hopefully we already have the bones of any additions installed, so we just need some extra meat!

The room is open for practice. Qualifying for the first race will begin at 7:30pm EDT, the first race will follow and the second race should begin a bit after 8pm.
