I encountered this problem with an anniversary car, and no amount of "resetting" would allow me in, even though it was completely stock as I received it, but these cars are modified slightly over there original model!

That "shouldn't" matter because the Anniversary's are technically a unique model and they were able to join tuning prohibited track before the update. That doesn't mean they didn't accidentally get broken. I'm sure these small issues will be sorted out with a ninja update, they've actually been pretty good about quickly correcting little things like this. Some of the big things......that's a different story, but they do seem to be addressing most things so far, some sooner than others.

well, I just put several hours and a lot of miles on the F40/Motegi combo , just to realize that I can't join on saturdays event because of the worldcup game

but I just bought the 599 and I'll be there next saturday 👍

Those gears in F40 are really... strange. But I still love that car! It's one of them, you have fight on EVERY corner :)

Guys, what are yours best lap times with the new update? ;)

Anyone feel like practicing something? Ruf, Ferrari, Foord?

Dont feel like lapping solo :)

Send me message ingame if so 👍

That's a nice way of putting it. Personally I'd replace 'strange' with 'ridiculous' - but I've been beating this horse corpse for a while so I'll stop whining now ;).
I set qually pole with a 2:00.7xx - a time I'm certain you will surpass easily 👍.

There's nothing I can do about it under tuning-prohibited races. And I'm not interested in allowing tuning. Sorry.

That's one of the things I enjoy most about driving cars in stock form, having to learn and adapt to their oddities and quirks. Especially older cars, they can be quite quirky. IMO, being able to adapt your driving style to a multitude of different cars and quirks makes us much better drivers than being able to adjust every car to your own driving style. 👍

👍 That's exactly what I feel! That's why I've said I love this car! ;) I really like "wild" cars, those ones I have to learn to drive. I also like fighting the car on corners, it feels so real to me, like driving a great, non-assisted race car :) That's why I choose only clubs and leagues like this one - with tuning prohibited

I agree, I enjoy driving cars exactly as they are but I'd also say, I enjoy tuning cars and trying to get that extra bit of performance out of them, finding gains in time etc. But... It needs to be done right, and its near impossible to police if there are tuning restrictions

Currently Its either All or nothing! :grumpy:
I've been in clubs in the past where tuning was allowed, but people always seemed to find exploits... 💡 A bit like real motosport then! Only we can't have scrutineers in GT6, Yet!

I have some plans to do tuning cups, but more about that another time, another thread :sly: right now im struggling to get my time down any further in that F40... More practice neede!

I'm heading to Indy to look at buying a car (Mazda Speed6). I'm hoping to be back in time for the race, but these things aren't always quick. I'll keep you all posted if I think I'm going to be a bit late.

car looks great especially the tiny cute rear "wing"
reminds me of the dragster wing from need for speed pro street in a small version .
never saw this on germany 's mazda 6's 👍

Lol. Good thing I'm not buying their website! Car is nice, 274hp/280tq, 6 speed manual, turbo, AWD. Not quite as good as my WRX but dang close and a lot cheaper. Interior is beautiful, a nice place to be. And it's a total sleeper. :sly: Working the figures now, should know soon.

I've decided to get this instead.

Don't the WRX's in the states have about 220hp?

(Under)rated at 224 but supposedly actually makes 10-15hp more than that. Either way, the Speed6 is a decent power upgrade. Didn't feel a whole lot faster, but the salesman was with me so I didn't properly flog it.

Sweet ride, A friend has a Mazda 6 (not this version though) as a works car, has done about 75k (miles) in three years. And says it bulletproof, and a real unexpected pleasure!

Enjoy 👍

Car look so much better without an ugly front number plate...

Nice 👍

EDIT: I see you don't have very far to go to get beer! :sly:

Looks like it would be a great motorway (freeway?) eater! Like the high transmission tunnel and rear lip, reserved and not too over-the-top.
