I used a camera to capture mine

How did you get it digitalized from that Super 8?

Seriously, great video of great action:bowdown:

I am also interested in capture tools. I am a mac user so there are not many options I think.

I thought a cable and software would be enough but that looks nice 👍

Not sure I would have enough use for it to buy one, though...

I'd say the quality looks much better, I used a camera to capture mine but could not get it set right to eliminate flickering.

What were you using @BrandonW77?

Also it's been said before, but loving the triple screen replays :D

I just held up my AyePad. :P And I kinda liked the flicker effect, made it look like a chase scene. :dopey:

The room is up. We'll begin qualifying at 3:30pm EDT (45 minutes from now). We are going to do a short rolling start so the FF's don't get left on the line. Maintain 62mph/100kph until we exit the first hairpin (Druids), then go green. We'll do a 10 minute race and then a 25 minute race with reverse grid.

So just to clarify, as soon as the first car passes the apex, they go? Everyone else needs to be ready and those that are further back maintain position until they pass that apex???

I have to ask, as the last two races I've been in I was leading the pack, and kept looking back trying to make sure we were not spaced out too much, even after the apex point!

Also from the perspective of the last place driver, when they are free to go.

Catch you soon.

Great racing today chaps, really pleased with how things went and how well you guys caught on to the concept. If you're interested in more of this kind of racing I'll work on getting something formal together. It's a bit different but has a lot of great benefits and offers some truly exciting racing. It requires a bit of work but you can put as little or as much time in as you want and it gives us a reason to to turn on the game. 👍

I was pleased that today answered one of my few worries -- which was about catching up after making mistakes/getting held up in battles. I was able to close a 3 second gap to the lead pack twice, with the aid of only one 'magical' lap -- the rest were just flat-out qualy laps.

Since we're all so close in pace, a lone car in clean air should always be able to close a reasonable gap to a battling group ahead. :D

Good stuff. I can barely wait for an enduro with this set of cars. :gtpflag:

Do you have any remaining worries we should address?

I think qualifying feels a bit weird, just because we're all trying to get 1:44.001. I had to jump out and toss a couple kilos of nose candy in the back because I went to fast. Rejoined with just enough time to get a flying lap. Maybe we need to do 15 minutes so people have time to jump out and make an adjustment.

I was also a bit worried about running too fast a lap in qualy, and I did exactly that. Fortunately we all have no problem in nullifying such a lap, jumping out and throwing a few keys in the back seat or slapping a slightly smaller restrictor on.

Adding a few minutes to qualy isn't a bad idea to cover that circumstance. 👍

Adding a couple minutes onto qualifying might help, especially if we get a full grid. This parity thing might be working too well and I'm all for it, whats the next track?

I'm definitely pleased with the racing I've seen. Apart from niggling setup differences between cars, I think it was probably as good as we can make it. Being on a different grade of tires impedes my flexibility in the race against better cornering cars I'm finding. However...that's probably about fair.

I was just doing the tests on Sundays because I knew a lot of us we're able to make that time.

Sunday seems to have worked fine 👍

Saturdays seem to be Prime Time for Online Racing. There are WRS, Civic Cup, and several others about same time. Not sure it would matter much but if you want a full grid another time slot might work better? On the other hand this thing is so awesome it deserves a Prime Time Slot :)

In addition saturday is often the day life happens. Guests are off by sunday, no one will call you for a beer on sunday (I hope :))

The minus for sunday night is the monday morning...:indiff:

3:30pm worked great. I think second race finished about 00:15 my time. 15min of picture taking and after uploading still sleeping before 1am 👍
