happened that it'll take me weeks to cool down.

Asa grand opening MAB dropped out. Then...

First i spun out trying to defend from gueven that was runing 20hps overpowered. He must have brought hps up after checks or switched cars. That ****ed up my race, then i went in box with a decent pace that would have brought home a 6th and the game glitched me in pits. Couldn't move or do anything at all, car stopped and not refueling and at last room stuck in last minute crash with all glitched in forever.

GREAT, really and it was one of the races i had interest in, marvellous... had it happened at Daytona i wouldn't had cares a ****

Shame Karsten, but it happens mate, just gotta stick with it.
I think Gueven was unsure and asked several times about bhp, and flank kepot telling him -20 but as the text messages kept scrolling doen the screen so fast i think he missed it, and i dont think he was aware, nevertheless he should have checked and made sure. In his defence i did psn message him at 6pm and ask him if he was still in series, and if not we can give his car to someone else, but he wanted to stay in and managed to get on so although he was disqualified, diont be too harsh on him, it wasnt inteneded, it just a bot manic with all that goes on before the race starts.

Just a quick one about the checks and qualifying procedure. In my opinion it is not controlled well enough. First of all the race should never of been allowed to start with Gueven at +20. There could well of been a communication problem with the language barrier but that isn't an excuse for him as he had plenty of time to read the forum rules about regs and penalties.

My main concern is with the free qualifying. I'm not saying anybody would cheat but being allowed to join the race after checks are done should be a massive no, the same goes with people leaving the track in qualifying and rejoining. There is no possible need to do that unless and advantage is trying to be gained.

Overall i still hate this track but well done to smiley for excellent pace and the win. And bad luck Karsten on the pit glitch.

Lol thats sort of funny Jona, got moved up and sad about it, and the next race is Daytona road circuit too, so you wont miss the power much there lol

For me - Perfect race atr my pace may have been 5th with no errors, but made a few.
Started in a little battle with Jona, but then settled down and had a good lap until Vic, who crashed but then camme up behind me, and waited 1/2 a lap until the straight to overtake me, what a considerate and nice gentleman he is, no ramming or scraping, just waiting , well done Vic, you were loosing time i know but i applaud you .
When i came around a turn and saw tobias spinning around ahead i also went off onto the grass and lost 7 seconds.
Then basically i was in 6th and try to stay ahead of snake who was a long way back but closing, but as the track got a bit slippery as dark fell i slowed and made a few smallish mistakes, and he was past and gone .
All in all i am happy with 7th and glad that track is done and dusted, each time we do it though i learn a bit more.

I saw that with Jona but with Gueven out of the classification Jona finishes 4th , so still minus 10 im afraid

I got wrecked in turn 1 turn 2 lap 1 and this really killed my mood after a few more crashes i gave up

Daytona should be decent with minus 20

Again another great race last night, i decided not to do the qual. As i saw during practice,doing a 09:00 would not be possible for me. So i said will try to catch up and trying no to crash. But at start of the race i just recieved a call on my cell phone, and i released the brake, resulting in a 5 sec penalty.once the race started i had a decent pace and was able to catch up. Jpw pushed me around the 35 min mark, but i lost only a couple seconds.he quits just after. I was really pleased with my P6. Great track, when you start to known it. Sorry for karsten with the glitch. Looking out for next one:-) have a nice day guys.

I did not know that the performance of the various vehicles must be different.
The power in my System is KW not HP, so this mean for me 305HP = 224kW ??
It was still a great race and the next will be better
I hope the 305 HP are correct.
I have told him he was in the wrong car as well as the wrong power, and told him how to find this thread.

Thanks guys, i know it is a game and all but i love and wished to be a race driver since i was 6 years old watching (and rooting for) Alboreto in his n°27 Ferrari running around F1 tracks and then doing the same on my carpet

Racing for real even with Karts (let alone real cars) was and is 100% outside my financial abilities even now that i'm 33, so the closest thing i have to doing what i wished since i was a kid is "racing" on GT6

Since it's the only thing i can do, I try it as seriously as i can, a bad thing i guess I accepted (and was not easy i tell you ) that i'm sadly a slow driver (it's not easy lol) but i had to face it and improve. So i tried to be as professional as i could, trying to fight my midfield (or lower) race position as if i was in the car and never surrendering. usually never doing a mistake in whole races is the only way i managed some top 6 results even when having far slower pace then others.

To keep everything entertaining for me i give myself some goals or targets (all of you do i guess?); for most drivers in the serie is a win or podium, not something i can honestly hope for in normal conditions So i try to get the best from being an averager.

This is why i was to ticked off about yesterdays glitch on a track that i felt having good chances of decent result even with -10hps. With the glitch off i got annoyed by losing a race at a track that i love (i like it because of how it drives not because i'm fast there ), and at the same time messed completely up on my end of season targets (thanks to ekke too lol). Basically now i have nothing to race for so i guess i'll race more relaxed now that i'm completely off all the targets i had

It's just RL issues, economics, work etc, etc and adding to it game frustation (i game for relaxing lol) didn't help my mood.

If you like, as you have so much to do, i am quite happy to keep updating the list, the necommers and the leavers ?

I am not trying to take over, but as you know i do try to recruit as many as possible that show an interest when we are practicing and its a great way to do it in open rooms, as myself, Fili and tobias are great salesmen for the series.
From there its hard if then i am not sure of what cars are left. who is left, etc etc.
I am more than happy to make sure as best i can that the grid is full, keeps me from coming last LoL.

As generally i have to get them to ask you if they can join or not, but as i am often practicing a lot a can see if they are nutters or nice drivers.
Let me know on that ?

Also i have made up a psn message that i send to people that show an interest, in fact i have found out that before i go into the game i can copy the psn message, then just send it to them once in the game, it tells them about the series, the cars and how to get to this thread.
anyone that has it can send it to anyone thats interested, if you go into messages before you start the game, you can copy it.
Then once in the game you can just send it via psn message to their id with all the info. Let me know if you want me to send you it guys. As otherwise it takes ages to explain everything in the text box in game.

Karesten, did you see the earlier message i posted from gueven that he has KW settings instead of bhp etc ?

I saw Jpw stabbing you at the inside of the 2nd corner. Would be pissed as well..
I am a lil bit gutted with the -10hp cause this bring me from being full Hp to being -20hp and completely ruïnes my strategy for the next races..

@azidahaka and others.. all my advice to those that feel they should be faster. Look at the replays of those that are faster and specifically at their pedalwork. And try to understand why some are faster than others. If someone is faster i always go look at their specific braking lines, speed through the corner and way of accelerating. Then i try to match this and try to feel comfortable going faster. Cause after all it just has to become an automatism to your brain. But this takes time if u are used to going just that little bit slower.

Edit: and btw Karsten, last sunday the host of the race which i ran also got stuck in pits during his first entry.
