Except being 1 point ahead of Aboe instead of behind all looks good
Off to Daytona..
Off to Daytona..
Good man Ninja, look out for us practicing for Mondays race at Dayrona road course.Sorry I didn't make it monday, just confirming my interest in the series.
Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. I'm still racin'.
Adding to this, next warning means a 1 race stop... So be patient lolYou might still be racing and you have pace but you need to calm down a bit. You can't win a race in the first few bends, but you can ruin someone else's.
Wil be participating again next monday.
Did a few practice laps on daytona road today, and i must say the Garaya feels pretty good.
I had a question about leaving the pits area. Is it allowed the go straight out, or do we have to take "narrow" road on the left side and exit after the first corner?
Sken, it is vey very narrow, i tried twice yesterday and spun on the grass ? if it the rule then i will have to stick to it but its narrow.narrow road on left side is the safer pit exit so that is the one that should be used
We better make sure everyone knows then SkenIt is manageable you just have to practice it
We better make sure everyone knows then Sken
Yes me 1.58Yes we have to use the hateful long slippery hairpin exit guys
BTW update is out there's the social part so i'll look on how to use it 👍
Any times for Daytona? i hate the track and i find it uber dull, but it is also the only place where i won a gt300 race lol Come back rain lol
There was a glitch that when it rained, even when set on small amount of weather, it just went to 100% wet for the whole race and didnt stop, and many found it impossible, including me lolA question, why has the weather change been removed?
Ok, thank you :-)There was a glitch that when it rained, even when set on small amount of weather, it just went to 100% wet for the whole race and didnt stop, and many found it impossible, including me lol
Unlike Unlike UnlikeHey guys. Sorry I wasn't in contact before this week's race to let you know I wouldn't be racing that night, I got distracted and forgot to visit GTP.
Also, I've been busy doing other things lately and so I'm withdrawing from the series to concentrate my efforts elsewhere. GT6 has become a bit of a bore for me recently - I rarely find myself interested in even turning on my PS3.
Good luck with the rest of this good series.
TC.

I understand your story.I'm slowly cooling down.
Thanks guys, i know it is a game and all but i love and wished to be a race driver since i was 6 years old watching (and rooting for) Alboreto in his n°27 Ferrari running around F1 tracks and then doing the same on my carpet
Racing for real even with Karts (let alone real cars) was and is 100% outside my financial abilities even now that i'm 33, so the closest thing i have to doing what i wished since i was a kid is "racing" on GT6
Since it's the only thing i can do, I try it as seriously as i can, a bad thing i guess I accepted (and was not easy i tell you ) that i'm sadly a slow driver (it's not easy lol) but i had to face it and improve. So i tried to be as professional as i could, trying to fight my midfield (or lower) race position as if i was in the car and never surrendering. usually never doing a mistake in whole races is the only way i managed some top 6 results even when having far slower pace then others.
To keep everything entertaining for me i give myself some goals or targets (all of you do i guess?); for most drivers in the serie is a win or podium, not something i can honestly hope for in normal conditions So i try to get the best from being an averager.
This is why i was to ticked off about yesterdays glitch on a track that i felt having good chances of decent result even with -10hps. With the glitch off i got annoyed by losing a race at a track that i love (i like it because of how it drives not because i'm fast there ), and at the same time messed completely up on my end of season targets (thanks to ekke too lol). Basically now i have nothing to race for so i guess i'll race more relaxed now that i'm completely off all the targets i had
Thanks logic it's perfect when i get home i'll copy-paste it in first page! 👍
As a last thing i'll try to be less moody, sorry about that, it's not like me, most people i raced with know it, i used to be a complainer back then but not so moody
It's just RL issues, economics, work etc, etc and adding to it game frustation (i game for relaxing lol) didn't help my mood.
I'll cheer up and make point later on today
karsten
Since you're around make sure to join the club!I understand your story.
I, for one, would say I am lucky. I am only 25 and I have competed in Karting, Formula Ford and Rallying. All under my own financial.
