FGTA GT300 Endurance Serie Club is Open!

All drivers should have received the message to join in, in any case if you can't find it the club's id is:
  • 1003049
Please all join for it'll be an INVALUABLE tool for getting more and more people to join the serie.

@Stephen Vann i fixed the non public room mistake... Now all should be working!

@ All drivers:

A quick explanation of how the thing works and should work and why we should all use it:

  1. All of you guys either if you want to train together or alone please do so using a public lobby in the club's main. Why? Because that way all users that are interested in our way of racing will find the room and on top of the room there's going to be our club name so they can easily join us!
  2. If you want to train in a different track be aware that more than one public club lobby can be created at the same time! I.e. Some drivers can be training or racing at Spa; if you do not want to join you can create from the club menu' another race fo example at Monza. Both races will feature the club's name and will allow other users to join.
  3. If you want to you can create a private room (either if club mambers only or friends Only) as usual. Again i encourage to do it from the club's menu' so it'll feature our club's name/banner!
  4. I'll start testing creating scheduled events for out mondays races. Doing so we can race without interferences by creating a CLUB MEMBERS Only room, and all drivers can check there what the race conditions will be in advance.
So in short for all your GT300 training and such please try your best to use the Club, it takes a bit of time but will bring great rewards in time!

Ok, it seems not to be straightforward at first but i am sure to get used to it.

If i am practicing tonight, and noone else is on, i just go to the community , then our club and select create lobby.
This lobby will be an open lobby ? so non club members see it in the old way and can join in ?
And if all club member use the community they can easily find it and join it ?
 
Depends on user choice if to make it open to all or not and if creating more than one. If i understood correctly this morning 7 drivers were using our club lobby... This seems really promising :)

Also now that i made lobby public the rooms can be found in search freely as always :)

When creating room remember guys that now there's 3 options! Public, friends and club only... Obviously training and recruiting should be done from inside the club selecting a public setting :)

so always when our regulars go on they should choose community to find our club then either go into club room or create one ?
 
1h earlier i'l be around for test and later on after dinner too. i'm at 2.00 and little hope of getting better >_>
 
Girlfriend gets home at about 6.30 so won't be on between then and about 11pm.

Just ran some full power laps with the BRZ and RX7. 1.56.2 and 1.56.0 respectively. Wanted to run the Gara but i must of sold it lol

I'm quite enjoying this track so far, once you get some more laps on it and look at some other lines people take, I'm sure your times will come down.
 
club room open - i would like to do a race length practice run later tonight, ideally 7.30 pm uk time or before.

There are 3 of us in the club room now waiting until F1 qualy finishes. I wont be on tonight after 5pm, out with mrs Logic.

Pit exit is the small slippery lane. Go cautiously there and do not ram other cars!
All be careful at race start; the banked road can send your car into a spin!
Be careful at pit entry! Slow down properly before entering and those in the car following you should be very aware to avoid crashes!

Karsten, is there a time penalty you will impose if people dont use the thin pit exit, please tell me there is a penalty so i have to use it, My car is wider than the road and i do not like it
 
It's hard for all drivers trust me... And BRZ understeers like crazy at that left turn.

There's going to be time penalty for purpousely cutting pit exit, and a VERY harsh one if through this cutting, a crash with incurring cars happens.

If you cant do pit exit without crashing, you're going too fast.
 
its very very narrow at Daytona road course, its not the speed it is just keeping your wheels off the grass, but i have practiced it.
 
Race day

I need everyone to give me a 1 lap headstart :)

On a serious note be careful at race start into turn 1 and be careful in that bus stop chicane
