gprili was not slow lol, and he would have probably lost to skeng in the lexus if skeng didn't disconnect once ( we didn't had drop scores in season one).

yeah, sorry again, but as you can see i got a very short end of it and a great disadvantage; warning hard serious this season and you know i usually wait for i i think i make a mistake. And also there's point penalties too.

Ok for the 4 new guys. Do you work as a tem going round different series picking apart the regs? This isn't the first time I've seen it.

Oz, i can certainly tell you this, i have raced against sken and GP and Ekke many times, these guys are generally the fastest and most consistent from last season , and also almost never make mistakes.
They can change cars and be just as fast and find ways of making the car g quicker in their own way.
Life will never be exactly fair, and there will always be an advantage somewhere.
the only way would be to have a one make series , and then that would solve it , but we dont want that.
the BHP reduction will make a difference to the guys who win, and they will then struggle to win, is that fair, just because they are better faster drivers they are penalised ? but at least over time it tries to even out things.
Season 1 was in the end consistent in as much as the best drivers came out on top at whatever track we raced.
This year we have all got different cars and my guess is that the fast guys will be the fastest, as they were on Monday, unfortunately GP cannot be here but would be fighting with Sken for sure in whatever car he had.
I would only say to you just let the races happen, let the penalties happen and wit until 4 of 5 races in , its way too early to call.

Although I'm not participating in season two (I hope to drop in for Nurb24h round in May... if there will be room of course), I'm following the thread and I agree with what Logic said about this, let the HP penalty system works before judging the car specifications after first race

I see what your saying there logic but it's more about evening the series up and making it more competitive and bringing the points tally closer together. It works well in other series and more often then not the fast guys still win overall.

the fastest always win in 6+ rounds series (disconnects aside).
to be honest i was surprised to see drivers that did well in their first race complain like that after just one round. The only complain we had lòast season was after 3 rounds and a team retired due to them being too slow. DPR lol

To be honest im a bit lazy or dont have enough free time to seriously test all the cars , I just love to race so i try to race in as many series as I can once I have the time .
I am not agreeing with any side as I do think stuff can always be improved but Karsten has done a good job with GP's help in the beginning , the final decision comes down to him because its his series.
I dont like mid season changes either .
Let us just all keep it respectful and constructive with the criticism .
Going to do a short test with all cars at Tsukuba and post what I get.

Ok, coming from the guy that complained a lot in our series. All I did was ask what was up with the RX7. As for Oz, he is faster than most, even SkengD. He can drive just about every car and be faster than most. He uses the full potential of every car. I race with him a lot. Don't hate on someone who can exploit a faster car.
We all have opinions and the freedom to express it.
Oz almost put the RX7 into the 1:36's and I know he can and stay within track boundaries to do it. Can SkengD put it that close?
I do agree with seeing how it does on other tracks.

A possible problem could be that OZ is so fast that his test data could be misinterpreted .
I do agree he is faster than me over 1 lap but I usually get the upper hand in races even though we havent raced many times and he has dcd in a couple but the ones we have finished I think I have won more .
Back to the point I want to make , sometimes hot lap time is not the true meaning of a cars potential or worth .
Most importantly sometimes 1 driver can be 1 second faster than other drivers in the same car , I know if I naturally just like a car I will go faster in it compared to others , its like I just find the extra tenth or 2 or 3 because I prefer one car to another so It is very hard to give 100 pct true test data IMO but all data helps.
I appreciate OZ doing some testing and cant wait to see what he got but I think a slower non alien driver should also do some testing because If all the fast guys test that data isnt really going to help much.
1 huge factor in Fuji was the timing of 1st pit stop , OZ and ROOB pitted 4 or 5 laps earlier than myself and EKKE , this basically handed us the race
