Coming online in an hour to do some testing myself .

I got a run on you by a couple mph and by the end of the straight you had a couple mph on me, side by side. I have no intention to argue. Just stating why I assume that all of the RX7s would cut 10hp. I was also illegally cutting corners in practice and you ran the same times as me, with more of a penalty.

I tried the rx7 at maximum penalty 255 hp 477 pp and it took me 5 laps to get a 58 0 at monza

I also tried the brz at maximum penalty 285 hp 490 pp and i got a 58 0 on my first flying lap

BRZ felt like the better car at maximum penalty comparing it to the RX7 only.

Must be the turbo or the torque or both.

That's a little crazy that a car with 30 less hp ran the same time at monza though.

I thought maximum penalty was/is 30 hp , well those times were with 30 hp less than the recommended .

I may have to pull out of the series. I got a new job and this series runs right in the middle of the regular work day during the week. If it was a few hours later I could make it but I don't expect that to happen. I'll let you know before Monday.

I'm running 58's, so what's the problem?

That's why there's success penalties.. 20 and 10 hp is a lot in a spec series

by fourth race there's promotion of performance, and the front runners will start to struggle with penalties. if i were in you i wouldn't drop the serie, very interesting times are ahead

oh and also you should really train with others it's very helpful.

Around a second, sometimes more depending on car and track. The difference is tire wear is off which give you a lot more grip for some reason.

Still can't see how you get so much from the rx7 by the way, I know it's only offline but I'm now a second slower in the rx7 compared to the Lexus, 54.4 and 55.5 at Monza.

Idk unless offline is that much different. I think the RX-7 favors a more aggressive style where as the Lexus is more rolling on and off throttle because of its midrange and broken physics.
