Guys I was driving with leyba today briefly. He had mics turned on with a full room (similar to how its been here.) Anyways my screen was stuttering and I was 2.5 secs a lap off my personaly bests at Spa in the lotus. We need to ban mics, it could ruin someone's race. I think the lag varies form player to player.

When we used to do the Rolex series, that was one thing we clamped down on. That, typing mid-race and visible damage being off. It used to mess with our internet, and given mine used to be pretty poor stability, more often than not it would kick me off. I'm pretty sure @Rich S unexpectedly left the lobby before I had to leave myself (Grrrrr...), and mics were on. Plus, if mic are on and people are talking, I've noticed it's off putting for some.

Visible damage is already off.
You are not allowed to type already.
All mics are turned off for the race anyway, so there is no talking.
We can try mics disabled next time though.

In the room on Sunday, in practice my car was really really good, I was almost matching my RM times with RH tyres and just a second or so off the fastest time... I left to change oil on my race car, came back for qualifying and I ended up last place on the grid, being out qualified by my teammate, and in the race the car was a very unpleasant drive and more than 1 second off the pace and beaten by my teammate... I don't know if that is Mic-related but it takes the Mic!

I left to change oil on my race car, came back for qualifying and I ended up last place on the grid, being out qualified by my teammate, and in the race the car was a very unpleasant drive and more than 1 second off the pace and beaten by my teammate... I don't know if that is Mic-related but it takes the Mic!

Looks like the camber might have been fixed. No mention of the ride height problem where max height is almost always best. I'll have to look at that.
I was struggling in the Lotus last night again, I think something's changed with it, before today's update even. Will have to get on top of that. Arty, what lsd settings have you been using on it?

Well my Lotus pace is still pretty bad although arty helped me significantly with stability, I realized reducing rear downforce way down no longer helps. That must be why my car felt so strange yesterday.
The new Toyota is very cool, with the hybrid kick out of corners. I would start a series with just the Audi R18 and Toyota, and maybe the Peugot 908 with heavy restrictions but I doubt anybody would want to race with little old me hosting.

Nope. Audi Set: 1:19.525 and Toyota set: 1:19.393. I got the audi to grip amazingly. I think Audi is just setup. Best setup will always win in that car.

Back to FGTs: seems it's slower and tyre wear got worse. At least it's what the guys at Indycar found.

Poor car just gets worse and worse. On release day it was a half decent F1 car, now its not much fun.
I like the idea of a Lemans prototype series. Bermuda Kid isn't around anymore but It'd be great to race that Toyota against the Audi, and maybe another car or two for variety. I wouldn't even care about winning, just going out and having some fun. Tire wear is silk with the hybrid, dont know about the other LMPs now but I felt 10 laps at Sarthe was do-able on one set of softs in T030.

Guys I have make today test in Fuij F with the FGT its horrible with medium tyres the times are more than 1 sec slower than the old physic and the tyre wear is incredible bad now, the rear tyres gone very fast when the rear tyres are brocken ist not more possible to drive its very sad that GT make the pyhisc everytime more bad.
I have test also with soft tyres the times are only 1-2 tenth slower than with the old physic and medium tyres also the tyre wear with softs are better than with mediums. We must change the tyres to soft then we have almost same lap times like with the old physic and mediums only tyre wear is more bad.
I have test also full DF it make without any other changes 5-6 tenth faster

You spilled the beans already I see.
Does that mean you found a better setup than that? Anyways, even downforce was what I needed, before the rear wing had to be way down. Interesting changes to physics, but times are similar to before not too far off. I managed a 1:17.7 at 80s Monza last night, I think the best I could do before the updates was 1:16.8 or something.

I agree, the Red Bull Ring is a joy to drive and it brings back memories of Michael Schumacher... the Lotus 97T is my favourite car in the game and the feeling of hitting apexes perfectly and at speed and controlling traction and having enough wit to drive closely with other drivers without touching... JOY! I have a Lotus F1 World Tour room open nearly every evening so feel free to join in, and I'll definitely try and make a practice race on Sunday...

On real settings, full power and softs I have managed a qualifying time of 1.07.7 but usually circulate in the high 1.08s in race trim and on hards, which I've only tried for a couple of times, I did a low 1.11 but I think I can do low 1.10s. I imagine the fastest time on softs would be high 5s/low 6s if you made no mistakes, nailing every corner and get the perfect traction out of them.

That is the great thing about the Lotus F1 World Tour room, we're friendly and open and share setups so that everyone can be competitive. I used to share the 'DaBomb' setup in rooms because it is really stable, but Aughablo's tune has that little bit extra - and to answer your question I quote him: 'Share it... it forces me to come up with something faster!'... which is why it is shared and is what RTRacing is about... having fun with friends and simultaneously pushing to be the fastest... I hope you all share your setups and allow RTRacing to publish them... and talking about new setups... I do believe RTRacing's Official Tuning Partner has something up his sleeve... Praiano's current setup took a cat of a car and turned it into a panther when the Lotus 97T was first released... things have evolved and the panther may evolve very soon, in the next day or two, and this time into a cheetah!!!
