I think it is just hard to find the right formula .

In the previous seasons the tire wear was not an issue with the power penalties .

Chris still won the race yesterday and Agro got pole last week , they have found a way to still be fast with setup changes while it seems Eol and I have struggled .

I'm going to say I think RS tyres should be taken way the WEC championship I've joined it's RM OR LOWER / but you are only
 
Well, to be honest Vic, you are not the first to say that.
However in my opinion it make the races more exciting - in fact it opens up many different strategies, as in Tokyo, running RM at a just a little faster pace i would have been in front of Chris and Fili, and if i had not messed my fuel up, then who knows.

If you dont want all the pit stops, then maybe we should detune the engine so we run for 90 minutes on 1 tank of fuel ? and only have comfort hards so we dont have to pit ?

I dont think there is a right and wrong here, but for me having any tyre option makes it more exciting, with all the pitstops, means the cars overlap more and often you are battling with the elite guys for a few laps ?.

I think the elite guys would still win, but for me the more pitstops in the race the more exciting it is.

Weather settings for Mondays Race 10 at Suzuka 2014
and Lexus Vision race on Fri 17th

Suzuka 2014 3.61 miles Forward/weather & time variable

Weather reports
heavy showers in the morning followed by lighter showers at mid day.


Qualy settings
Weather at start 60%
Time 10.00
Time progression x1
Changeablity x1
surface water at start 70%
After tests this should mean that Qulay will dry out to 5% wet track by the qualy end

Race settings
Weather at start 30%
Time 11.00
Time progression x1
Changeablity x3
surface water at start 40%
After tests this should mean the track will start 30% wet and dry out within 3 laps and should stay dry for around 30 minutes after which time it rains for 15 minutes and the track then gets wetter until it reaches around 40% wet then rain stops and track dries out again with 20 minutes to run

That's crazy!! :lol: Should definitely cause a few dramas during the race :scared:
 
I couldn't bring myself to turn a single lap after last race issues. I actually think i haven't turned ps3 on once. There was an update i heard that fixed gearing bug, right? What are times like, in case i can push myself to give the track a go before monday?

Also i bet that weather won't go as planned like that last 90mins of rain race where it was supposed to stop after 20 minutes :D

Good times are 1 56 although most are happy with mid 57 and a few are on RM and RH at around 59 , i think the tyre choice to run longer here is very good as softs dont last too long.

As for the weather,it may not go as planned of course, but i cannot make more effort than i have, i have run so many tests so many times, i have only spent these hours in an effort to make the race as enjoyable for all as possible.
It is boring and takes ages just watching the race run and weather change - then re running it again, and then after collecting results i re run the best settings a few times.
And i now have come up with something that i hope works.
It may not work and it may rain to 100% the whole race, what is the alternative, i can do nothing about it or i can try.

Optimism and enthusiasm tank are dry by now. This was the worst effort/results season i had since gt5, and one of the worst i had concerning crashes.

Why am I "missing in action" and back to base weight after missing one week? missing the race that clearly could have been in my favour.
Reading your post makes me regret it even more.
