I'm a huge touring car fan and i know a few series on GTP but none use real touring cars you can find in game. i have an idea for a good series but would like to see if any one shares my love. Based on WTCC cars will be 380bhp and race 120km (about 45mins-1 hour) If i get enough interest i'll get to work with the guys. Any Q's just ask

It would be nice to see a few more touring car series that use actual race cars :D

Does the FGTA have a designated movie-maker person? I would love it if someone could make a video of my race.
I usually make videos of the series i race into; check my season 2 videos along the GT300 topic; here is a taste

sadly it is a very time consuming process and i have a 9,99euro capture stick so quality is potato-like lol :D

Would you be willing to watch a race from time to time just to get the replay to make video's from?

wish i had that much free time to make videos of races i'm not into lol...

if you have some special event that you really need covered i might give it a try, but the quality is what you saw.

what are you planning?

Well I am looking for a live stream for the RoC.

i'm unsure that my connection/notebook can do that.

how would you do that? give me some details so i can give it a try if the timetable fits

Ummm, @gtpcaine @memto89 @the_proffs ? I have no idea

I'm looking into it, seems reasonably easy to do... I'll run some tests to understand quality and stream stability... I might post here a livestream link asking for you guys to check it. This later on today ;)

this way would be better quality lol

it's justa test, my notebook shouldn't be in the min requirements for livestream software so i'm surpprised it works.

how is the vid and audio?

Using a phone would give barely any quality and would be pretty useless for race coverage.
 I know :P iPhone is decent... But I assume for live stream, you have a video card and software all plugged into the PC. That means you cant race I assume, unless you stream your self...

Slightly old thread but from what I know the Hauppuage is the best capture card though is a bit expensive.

Elgato and Roxio are also decent.

Elgato is currently slightly more expensive than HD PVR 2 GE on Amazon. I always thought PVR was easier to use.
PVR's are kind of the low end of the "nice scale" but they work if your not going to be streaming a lot.
