IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Slight change to the drivers briefing everyone.

I noticed that you must now drive your car through the chicane inside the pit entry, where on GT5 the computer would do it for you.

So:

PIT ENTRY

The pit entry is on the right just before the final Ford chicane.
WARNING
There is a chicane inside the pit entry, you must ensure you take the chicane properly.
There is a large time advantage in not doing so, therefore a 60 second penalty will be applied to any driver whose car does not correctly take the chicane.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I will be online getting some more Le Mans practice this evening.

@laurent501 will you be able to join us so that we can get you graded and allow you to race this weekend?

nope I haven't srry

off topic though :@:RS__96__oO, well done bud WRS D1 Bronze
Cheers, mate 👍

i think 4.19.0 was my best yesterday , 100% weather and wet setup which is slow on dry... With the dry setup... its undriveable.

I got a setup which is pretty good for both dry and wet, 4,21min in 100% wet, and about 3,50min in the dry.. To be honest I don´t know which weather I want :D

I made some further testing in the dry, i think finally i found the perfect setup (of course its never perfect but i think im pretty close) , best lap so far 47.4 and i was able do 6 contionus laps around 47.9 - 48.3 and then the tyres worn off... this time i squarely would like to run a dry race here. I have a small question about chicane 1 and 2 in the long straight, i don't know if i'm using the kerbs too much or not, i'm driving through with one wheel inside the kerb, one outside, but since the white line is like 1,5m inside the kerb, i became fully inside (or outside?) of it at the apex, (but still one wheel is on the track, inside the kerb) is this acceptable or no? Sorry for my english, i tried to explain the best i could, probable everyone gets what i'm trying to ask:lol:

i will try but it will be hard during the heat of the race where everyone tries to beat the others, tries to be faster and faster... if someone uses too much kerb like i explained, could get a penalty?

Some allowance may be given at the stewards discretion, if someone doing it too much too often then yes, but a little by mistake every now and then, unlikely 👍

That is some serious pace! I've been so busy recently I haven't done a single lap at Le Mans yet. :( I am busy tomorrow morning too.

Mike this is another track where I want my Viper back!

Why you want that back, I was keeping with you in the R8

I can match that in the dry ;) but worried about the wet though :nervous:
Are you running a setup similar to yours at Suzuka? It´s faster than mine in the dry, but in the wet it's tricky.

EDIT: Anyway, the most important thing will be consistancy :P So I'm happy with my current times 👍

I think it has changed a bit since then, but I don't think by much.

3:47  I need to know your secrets :D

A bit higher aero at the front (250-400), a bit higher ride height (65-70) so i'm a little bit slower on the straights (300 instead of 303) but much more stable car at braking, quicker at the cornery last sector, and i can attack corner entries and every chicane harder, weaving under braking is mostly gone. A bit softer dampers (6-6 and 8-8) so the kerbs doesnt lanunch the car. Diff settings 15-12-5 could be a bit tricky but if you learn to handle it its really quick out of the corners. it seems these settings works for me with the sls :D

Damn hard to put together the totally perfect lap here but if it would happen, it would be 46.9 here, combining the best sector times i reached

R8 is available :D

As we have a PRO and AM championship you will need to be graded to make sure we put you in the correct class, this can be done today before the race, so if you are on PSN get me a friends request and we will get you graded 👍

Any drivers able to join for some extra cars, I have Dan with me so will need at least 1 PRO car :D
