Start with max ride height, minimum diff and max aero then drive round in the middle of the track and work from there.

Have a much longer gearbox than you need and minimise the wheelspin. đź‘Ť

Make sense... And I think i will make first and last gear closer, and then make some further adjustment so that rpm ranging between max torque and max hp...i hope that will minimize wheel spin since there is no sudden torque or hp...

Weather and Time Announcement
Ok guys, I have decided that I will base the weather settings for each race based on the weather in real life the week before our race. IE, our first race is on 9th August, but we will use settings to match the weather for 2nd August. This will allow me to confirm the weather 1 week in advance and allow people to practice for the set weather, rather than leaving it up until the day of the race to confirm.

The website used for weather reports will be the same for every race, here is the current report: http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Rac...uit/Bathurst-Motor-Racing-Circuit.aspx?sday=3

It is dry, but cold. So I would have about 50% weather on fixed. However, that may change by this Saturday.

Either way, you will have 1 weeks notice of the weather prior to each race.

------------------------

Time change will be used in all possible races. The plan is to simulate a 12 hour race in the 2 hours. So starting at noon (12:00) and finish at midnight (00:00). Some people prefer to run a driving line if racing at night, but in this series, the only permitted driving aid is ABS, so that isn't possible. If you are one of those who run with the line at night, I advise you to get some decent practice miles in before the race.

-----------------------

Driver's brief and registration list for round 1 will be posted by the end of the week.

12hr ,, boooooo.. not a fan like to do the full shift, but new season new rules and layout, liking the weather report, nice to be able to plan and then know what setup to use.

sorry me and teamate havnt been to the tests hope we havnt missed much, hopfully everything is finally settled now with specs and drivers and teams.

Cant wait to get this season going Australia here we go.

Do the +/- in the car specs mean you might need to adjust the figures to get the PP in, as im not getting exact figures for some cars? Or am I being dum :)
It's because based on where you have your weight placed, it could slightly effect how much BHP you can have. The regulation that matters is the PP. For example, if you shift all your weight to the front, it will lower your PP. You can then add power until you reach your specified PP. Hope that makes sence,

You are correct. Bhp values are adjustable based on where you place your ballast.

Just to make it clear cain...is it pp adjusted to meet hp or hp adjusted to meet pp? Because last pre season test i am on exact pp but exceed hp limit and roberte told me to lower the hp
Thanks mate

He probably didn't realize how it works, Caine's word is the one that stands.

Good to see you back mate. I think Stiggy holds the record at the moment, 56.5!
Jeeez, he's gone wild.. :boggled: not only here, he also is battling Division 1 in the wrs :scared: nice work stiggy, you're gettin faster and faster. My best is a 57.2 but 56's should be possible too.
