Coming home tomorrow after over a month away from GT, Really looking forward to get some time at bathurst and try out my car ahead of the season! Will suck to not be anywhere near all of these times for a long while but I will persevere :P

Don't forget you are in AM, you don't have to match the PRO times.

Like last season proved for me, consistency beats pace here. With the walls so close, an extra pitstop due to damage will cost you 30 seconds +, how many laps will it take to gain that back? I had pace last season, but dramas cost me. It's also a 10 race championship, no-one will win it at the first race.

Also, is anyone willing to give away if they are running camber?

running a little camber.
 
I found using camber a huge issue especially when battling with other cars and having to drive off line due to the uneven state of the road, I dont envy you guys doing two hours, a proper baptism of fire :)

After being woken up early I thought id get some seat time in, only to have a 3 year old tell me "you're not very good at this" every time I clipped a wall or grass.... think that ends that session!

was that running with or without camber?

i started off with none at bathurst but adding a little, like .2 front and .3 rear allowed me to attack more at T2 and 3.

ha ha maybe,., if you don't crush the car into the wall. :lol:

On another note don't worry about podium finish that'll be a bouns, just try for no mistakes, no damage and stay out of trouble. Then see where you finish. Also we havn't been to test races we don't know the drivers, just be cool, clean and steady pace. :cool:
 
Haha cheesus, my teammate is all ready doubting my capability to keep it on the road. :P Well I guess that is a special ability of mine to crash in very stupid ways... but why give up on such a nice tradition?

This is 'RIPRacing' This is for The Race drivers, The Rookies and The Legends. The Podiums, The Pit stops, For us that are Divided on Track, but United in Passion, This is for The Followers of the Racing line, For those that Embrace their Origins and Confront The Unknown. This is for learning all kinds of Race Craft, Driving Techniques, Vehicle Dynamics, Anything with being Faster, Reliable, A Real Simulation Racer. :D:D
