Yea im about to reach 700 cars. Money really isnt an issue for me anymore as im always at 20 mil credits.
But the way i found them was awesome. I was in New York City skating with a bunch of friends then we took a rest about 50 feet from a hardware store. Then i yelled at my friends " ill be back" and i come out with to screws ecstatic and they were are confused. That moment made me chuckle but nevertheless im happy
 
Skating in NYC sounds awesome man. Good you got them, you can help us test the cars tomorrow after practice if you can mate. I gotta work out a good pp for them.
 
Oh if you do run the classic series i wanna race a gt40 mk2 or gt40 mk4. GT40's are the best cars to exist.
 
Yea they are all cool cars but gt40's are my dream cars. They are so beautiful and were so fast back then

I think you should run a classic series mate, they're a blast to drive. I ran a Toscana oval race in Furi's classic series and it was great fun.

I'm going to run a 2.4 hours of Daytona spot race with the GT40, IV, P4 and 2D to replicate the real life 1967 event :D it'll probably be around Speedweeks so mid January.
 
So far that seems to be where the interest is, maybe there is not enough 90's touring cars. I love the Jag and P4 so happy with that, need to test as I am not sure how the alfa and the vette will shape up (I have my doubts about the honda too from memory its got a tiny engine).
2.4 hours sounds cool but I couldnt do it on an oval man :)

If you cap the Ferrari, Jag, Chappy, GT40 and Mark IV at 620pp they're pretty equal.

And no you've got me wrong, the 24 hours of Daytona is on the Road course :P

EDIT: I think the 'Vette would lose out in the corners, and unless you did mixed class the Alfa and Honda would probably have to go.

Road course is much more interesting ill have a look at the link, I like the idea of endurance racing online but it has to be an interesting track and cars.
I prefer Indy road but it doesnt seem that popular with others.
 
Yeah unfortunately it'll lose on the straights big time :(

I haven't put it up yet mate, I was going to do it January Speedweeks but I may do it in December instead. Will keep you posted 👍
 
Thanks a lot, haven't got the P4 or the Mark IV so I can't really test properly right now. Saving up for the Ford.
 
I won the P4 somewhere, did you complete B spec? Isnt it the prize for the classic race car championship?
 
Cant remember but I did not buy it because I had it a long time before I even got over 5 million. I think its a 20 million cr car.
Edit: Just checked the list and it could have come from a ticket prize. Level 21

Oh and do you guys have an idea of how i can mark my screw holes? I cant find any plans showing the measurements of where they are.

Well that was....well....an interesting trip to wales. Drove 2 and a half hours, all on motorways so really boring. Got there and the uni was a **** tip, got absolutely stinking drunk, had some 'fun' and was told afterwards she has chlamydia, a few hours later threw up everywhere, went to sleep on a rock hard floor, woke up aching like ****, and drove all the way back again with a hangover.

But yeah i really like the sound of the classic series, ive always loved those cars, but the GT40 has always eluded me :( i have everything else though. I will be on later to test them. I dont think the vette will be too slow, ive always remembered it being pretty good in the corners

Pagey- I could have told you the uni was a tip, iv been there myself a few times. Drunk is good, chlamidya is not :(

Anyone have tips on how to mark the screw holes when i hard mount im not completely sure ive got it. :nervous:

Sorry mate, I missed your post, use a punch to score the wood then if you dont have a drill you can use a big self tapper to start the job. If you do have a drill use a bit that is about 2/3 the size of the bolt your using 👍
