I got it! We have two drivers. Spurgy and pagey. This is an organic team so no robots. Bret is team leader. Sandman is visual and asst team leader. I am pits and do the press releases for the team. Runfast is the armed guard. And ferg is tea boy. Although he looks like he makes an awful brew. Pot noodle yes. Tea no

Has anyone seen the BST V8 Challenge thread? Its all gone pete tong, Gik has been banned along with a couple of others i think
 
Yeah, just Gik I think and a lot of posts merged/removed. Andy was rowing about a warning he got so Gik got mad and got banned for 7 days.
I am avoiding this one with a 90foot barge pole :lol:
 
Any comment on season 2 How do you feel about your performance?
I think it went ok considering it started off rocky. After the first race I was considering canning it & going back to one of the super gt series. Things have cleaned up dramatically over the last 5 races. Its been good to see good racing.

Your with Smart Heart next season. Any comments?If he promises to not say anything I'll give him the setup I typically use. :) Its probably not as good as other's setups though. Pagey probably is the king pin of car setup here.

Do you feel you are driving to your potential at the moment?Practicing is boring for me. My schedule does not match the British people here so I end up doing a few laps on my own all out to just practice qualifying. But lately no long runs.

How do the other teams look in your opinion and other drivers? Any big threats?Immortal was a big threat but didn't make the final cut for S3 due to lack of seniority, a shame I think. Berty has proven he raises his game on demand so it will be interesting in S3.

Any improvements for next season?practice makes perfect

High points and low points this season?
Getting slammed at Indy Road course was damn frustrating. It was and is the biggest hit I've ever taken online from behind. It was a chain reaction I think. The high point was Grand Valley where I just enjoyed running around & trumping people's personal bests on my first lap. Dont know what it was, it just hooked up there.

Anything else to say?I hope season 3 is as clean as Fuji was last week.

Last race i was watching us go side by side on the straight and you ran over a member of the pit crew ! He was standing in the middle of the road! :lol:
 
Someone has had that before in the FGTC (ellis maybe) and they reported seeing an entire pit crew in the middle of the main straight in the V8's too :lol:
 
I think you should make a thread on intrest checks for any new ideas regarding S3 or S4. That way all FGTC members can give some possible improvments or new features. 👍
 
SM- Without trying to sound facetious....cant all members put forward suggestions here?

Etid- You can be head 'chef' but try not to make the drivers too fat for their racing suits :lol:
 
Sorry about the stewards report....AGAIN.
Sakery has been working by day and decorating the house in the evening. (all while wearing his leather shorts, drinking large glasses of beer and eating sausages :D), he tells me he will do it about 1030 tonight so expect it to be published about midnight 👍
 
Sakey is working a lot lately, is it possible that he is someone we know's dad?

I just realised i could still win the championship :D
All you need to do Brett is go on a rampage, take someone out and get a -10 points penalty, then get disconnected afterwards. Then if i win the race i will win the championship by 5 points :D
 
Any comment on season 2 How do you feel about your performance?

I only joined the FGTC half way through this season and Ive been happy with my results so far, averaging 3rd throughout, and coming close to wins 4 times as well as always being close to or if not setting the pace at most of the races.

Your with runfast next season. Are you happy with that? Any comments on your team mate?

I haven't raced runfast too much this season but from what Ive seen he can definitely be on the pace of the top drivers, he just makes mistakes in the actual races which sometimes result in him crashing, like at Fuji for example. But this doesnt worry me, I think with a joint effort on setups and a little more practice I think we will be a strong team going into next season.

Do you feel you are driving to your potential at the moment?

I think that Im almost there, but can do slightly better, as I said previously I have come close to winning 4 times so far out of 10 races but I still am yet to win. Hopefully I can improve on this next season.

How do the other teams look in your opinion and other drivers? Any big threats?

I think Mclaren will be the team to beat with such a strong driver line up, and as far as drivers go I think it is quite evenly matched, and that most of the drivers will be competing for wins.

Any improvements for next season?

The only improvement for next season is to try and keep my calm under pressure, in a couple of races this year I have thrown away a win due to a lack on concerntration and focus. If I can work on that next season I should be more competitive in the races, and will hopefully collect some wins throughout the season.

High points and low points this season?

The high point of the season would have to be Monza, despite getting DSQ I managed to get a full house, pole in quali, fastest lap in the race and of course the win, and it was the first race of the season so it was a real confidence boost coming into the championship. My low point would have to be my technical problems at Monaco, I think I was definitely fast enough to be racing Sandman for the win but my race was over before it even began which was a real shame.

Anything else to say?

Well done to Brett for winning the championship and Im looking foward to the final race of the season at Nurb, if I can keep my car on the track and set some good lap times Im in with a shout of getting my first win so it should be a good one.

Pagey- Yes you could but I could guarantee my win by disconnecting before the countdown timer has finished for the start of the race :lol:

spurgey- nice interview, runfast really can run fast so like you say with a bit of practice and tuning you guys should be up there in the constructors 👍

Germans are like wizards, they are never late.....they arrive exactly when they mean to :)

Why not :D

Just set a 6-22-005 but I could go faster. Was a bit wary doing it.
