(FGTC) Formula GT Championship Season 3Finished

Just watching this for the first time - that was a pretty big lunge/dive up the inside Lap 33 T1 (53m 35s)!
You doing any project cars or assetto arty? Ive been racinv a bit on weekends. Bathurst in formula A is nutty. I was driving the pre 2002 hockenheimring too with the drag strip format.

Hey guys, I just had an idea explosion, tell me what you think
we can add a European Grand Prix at Brands Hatch and/or a PDI Grand Prix at Deep Forest Raceway to the calender next season
As well as a Post/Pre season exhibition race at Daytona Road Course (I can explain how the start could work)

Oh yeah, that is the best I seen so far.
Not anymore after what my eyes witnessed last night guys :). No but, seriously, I think around 1:10.00 is the going rate of your average fast lap. To put it in perspective, so far, a mid 11 is one of my better laps. Yes it's only about a second and a half away, but the time spread on laps is more significant here because of the lack of length at RBR, being that it's a shorter track in comparison to the other tracks on schedule relatively speaking.
Monaco Grand Prix Video

Thanks for the upload bro. The more n more I watch the video, the more I'm convinced how awesome of a race that was 👍.

The other thing that kept coming to mind, was how often I kept thinking how lucky we are to have a guy like Tad! @Toshost What he does for us is so unique and special, and as we grow, I'm hoping he gets rewarded for it along the way. Thanks for all you do big guy ;).

Oh, and by the way. Thank you for pointing out how well the blue marker cars behaved at the ends of some of these races mate. It's very refreshing to know that this aspect of the sport gets appreciation. You may think that it's no big deal, but in my opinion, it is important.
You never know if a potential future member watches the video and hears you comment about back marker car for doing the right thing. I would like to think that person now gets an understanding of the nature of our league and does the same thing one day.

As Steve Matchette would explain here in the U.S. on NBC Sports. They touched! The wheels touched Hobbo!

Are you guys on PS4 or PC?

Nina tell us the truth. The only reason why you wanna call Brands Hatch the European GP, is because you're just as confused as we were, as to just exactly where the European GP was held this year ? Gosh, I think Los Angeles is closer to the Mississippi River then Baku is to Europe .

No exaggeration, theres about a couple hundred words exchanged of new ideas and plans for next year every day. Right now, our soul focus is to salvage what was presented to us, and make sure we get around the quirks here, and to make sure we finish strong.

We've got some really, really cool ideas in store and yours are heard loud n clearly as well, along with everyone elses. In the offseason, we're going to attack at this head first with bells on ;).

I thought the same. For the next season surely those tracks must be in. Also we can think on Tokyo R246

Just bought a PS4 Pro (UK guys check out Very.co.uk, 20℅ off) but can't afford games now lol Which is better to get?
I was impatient and missed pro lol. Just got a 55 inch samsung tv in house but i am practically banned from racing on it....:( anyways i never hot f1 2016 but im hearing good things. If I were you arty Id get project cars and assetto. The thing i hate about project cars is the lack of ovals like gt5.6 has to speed test and just mess around. All tracks ate like f1 or gt3, LMP. There is a test course but only 1 stockcar from the 90s era. Its a cheap buy though, i got mine for 22 bucks.

Assetto ive not played much yet but it has some real classic beautiful tracks. The "death tracks" from the 1960s are there and running a f1 2015 or a red bull x1 even at classic monza, thats nutty he he. I wish that was possible as a red bull on a ww2 era circuit with the long straights would be
Rad to say the least.

Im getting my playseat challenge ordered and to fold up move around the living room and one day ill get naughty and sit in front of the 55 inch he he he.

This is my setup for RBR if i can help anyone.

The key here its the gearsbox in the T2, ajust the 3rd to 5th to be confortable with, in race or in qualify.

I'm running low 1m10, pretty sure to break the 1m10 until the race.

Traction Control isn't allowed in the pre-qualifying time trial...
Yes sir, you're correct.
It was decided last Sunday that room A would have Traction Control disallowed indefinitely in Room A from now on.

We're working on adding a new section, either linked or directly on this thread of a Time Line. This way, if members overlook updated info in OP, changes will be more visible and transparent by way of this Time Line.

Well it was nice of you to consult and notify everybody about this change. It's actually somewhat worrying that rules can change and drivers will have no idea about it.
Understood, but if you didn't know by now. This League isn't being run by just one person now. It's being run by committee, and each person in this committee has their own unique responsibilities. Mine is to control and keep the actual game Club page updated and organized (in which, TC info has been updated their since Sunday). Desten´s is to do the same here on GTP, and I think he's doing a HECK of a job so far with many updates and additions that were done just earlier this week.

Also, since we're on the topic of "being nice." It would be nice of YOU, to finally accept my friend request on PSN, (like everybody has) so you can get any information from me first hand :).

In a democracy, everyone should get a vote on rule changes, not just a select committee. I use GTP to communicate, not PSN.

I personally don't care what the rules are. I read them, and I like them I join the series. My problem was that people weren't following the rules...including you Ash. People not following the rules, and admin not enforcing them, it's the reason I left. Wasting 3 to 4 hours for an hour and a half session was just no good. Ash...If you don't like something about the series....stop wasting people's time by constantly complaining. Just leave instead. This is supposed to be a high level series anyways. People should already know how to drive the car without TC or ABS.

What rules haven't I followed?

And I'm not complaining, I'm providing comments and criticism. This is how things move forward and improve. If you segregate out the slower, new drivers, then how can you expect them to get better? A good series should cater for all levels of driver, as long as they are able to race cleanly and follow the rules.

Running a series is not these guys' full time job, it appears they do their best after inheriting the championship...

The thing is a lot of us are friends and have raced each other for years so when someone is late the general feeling is 'damn, but let's wait' and most drivers have been late and have been waited on so we understand and appreciate that kind of thing...

ALL of us want to start on time, things have improved, and the last race was great! Under a tenth between the top 3 in qualifying and close battles up and down the field, don't knock a good thing!

Oops, forgot to mention ABS and TV rule change.

With a Championship that contains the best drivers in the world the drivers should be tested to the max, so it makes sense to have Lobby A as an unadulterated no-Aids room.

It surprised me that there was a rule change, but there is new management and the changes actually isn't in their individual interest.

Because the Qualifying round is for entry into Lobby A, it is only right that a driver should prove they can do fast enough laps to Lobby A standards.

Things change and we adapt!

I'm not against change, but that doesn't mean things should happen without all of the drivers being notified about it. And I disagree about the new organisers "inheriting" the championship... they chose to carry it on, it wasn't forced upon them. I agree, the top drivers will run without assists. However, in general, any assists actually make you slower, so I don't think any of the fast guys should be worried about letting the less experienced guys using a few assists. Just my opinion.

Who asked or consulted True when he changed damage from heavy to light?

Honestly u cannot compare both things.

Damage changed from heavy to light because issue can happen with lag and not interesting at all.

For the aids, im aggree with the series runner, for lobby A you need to drive without, what ever used for drive.

Honestly u cannot compare both things.

They are not comparable cause they´re not the same thing but what I mean is there were changes that werent told in the past in order to disscuss them. Also, we havent seen anyone with major lag issues, so in my opinion heavy damage would mean this series to be more serious and realistic.

Sorry for the late post guys. Long story short, I got a last minute job yesterday and got home and logged into game 5 mins prior to Pre-Qualify deadline time. Wouldn't you know it, it takes almost 6 minutes to get to the TT Room and miss it by about 30 seconds :boggled:.

Wait, it gets better. Wasn't feeling to good all day yesterday and broke into a fever last night and still haven't slept a wink yet, so please bare with me today fellas.

Ps. Maxx, I told you, you would be in the 9's . Good job bro!

Yes you're correct in that, nobody put a gun to our heads and said, you better continue on or else. However, many of us sacrificed much effort and time into this league beginning in June, along with other things, like changing my works schedule around this league etc. Lot of blood sweat n tears along the way so why just dump it? Especially, as was mentioned just before, most of us know one another over the years anyway, and unlike True Blues agenda, ours is for the long term spanning multiple seasons and many, many years of this going forward, so it made sense to continue on.

The funny thing is, it was you Ashe who came through and brought up the issue with TC in the Pre-Qualifier room. So, ye we're listening to you and everybody else. That part of it is misunderstood I think. It's not like Me, IP, Tiago and Desten pnly express our opinions on these changes. These changes are usually met with a briefing on the situation, that was brought up by this or that driver in particular. So ye, it is being run like the Democracy you were talking about anyway.

I was looking for Maxx Pain during all the race, i really wanna have my revange this week for waht happen on Spa when he took me out 3 times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

P4 but one TRL dc, so maybe the P5 was possible without this issue.

In all case, i was not expected to be in top 6 tonight.

I run slow intentionaly to make sure my tire can go to the end, maybe with around 10 laps littles bit faster i'll be in 3rd.

Xife giving me no choice at the end, i have to push the most possible or lost the P4. Gr all
