I would just like to thank all of the PD staff, event organisers and all of those that put some serious effort to make this possible on Saturday night. Well done, there were some minor issues, but this was a huge step forward and I am sure regional and world finals will be even better now.

Thanks to all the competitors as well for some intense batlles, great racing all. Apart from my epic fail with the penalty on manufacturers race...

PD and Sony must have put a tone of money into the event itself and probably around that price per person invited with all included. I mean, it's a prize in itself to be there. The watch is a bonus.
Absolutely. While the ultimate purpose of the travel was the races, it really felt more like a nice vacation. For example, we joke about the McDonald's but that's not to say we weren't fed well:

Do we have anyway of contacting someone to find out? I’ll have to book days off work most likely and need to know sooner than later haha
It's as though we have this beautiful, glimmering gift horse standing in front of us, we want to ride it, but it reigns are juuust out of reach. Maybe a well-timed thunderclap will jostle its tookus over yonder. I don't even understand what I'm saying anymore.

edit: missed your question altogether. I've not been able to find a PD contact but regardless, I hesitate to add to what must already be a bustling email inbox

Just be patient a while longer. We asked during the Tour and it hasn't been forgotten. All these events in such a short time makes it a hard task but I'd say it's worth the wait based on my experience.

It really feels like GT Sport's vision is finally coming to reality, the game is built for esports and it's great to see it in practice with the live events, honestly i have very high hopes for the FIA finals, the Red Bull world tour was just a exhibition event and it was amazing.

I need to get my visa for the regional american finals asap! (presuming it's gonna be in the USA)

Can't be missing another amazing event like that.

Yes... do be prepared to travel to the United States; you've got about a month. ;)

@Jordan I really hope you're right on that timeframe, because if you are, I'm guessing the event would be here in Austin, Texas for the F1 race at Circuit of the Americas in late October. Gran Turismo crew was setup here one year ago for the last F1 race, but that was a couple months before I owned the game and I didn't get a chance to go. I would love to be able to attend this time.

I can't thank Polyphony Digital enough for giving me this amazing opportunity

If I'm allowed to say, all of you deserved it! In the second stint in Manu-Final after taking the car from @TRL LIGHTNING, your heart rate was displayed a short while, and it was over 150, but you managed to keep your pace even under this pressure! This is an insane skill from my point of view.

Damn! Now that pulled me down! If I only had talent... :banghead:

If I were offered a choice between that TAG Heuer watch or a bite of that schnitzel as a prize. I think I might pick schnitzel. It's a cool watch and all but that's a schnitzel in Austria.

Yeah, I enjoyed the races. Those Hungaryans(?) proved to be well prepared to stand above everyone else.

I was afraid he (Kaz) was going to take Sport there... fast folks only need to apply. I was looking forward to playing the next evolution of GT casually... as I've always done, while meeting new friends and greeting old ones to the new console.

Unfortunately, Sport is nothing more to me but a members only club. As a 'slow poker' like 99percent of GT6s players, I have no pipe dream of being an eSport competetor. With its login only play and as an abreviation of what it has always been, prior to PS4. It is now A Real Life (racing) Simulator.

I've got two questions to the World tour participants:
1. Can you keep the puma gear that you use at the events?
2. When you have to switch drivers, do all drivers need to use the same FFB settings? Or can it be set differently for each driver?

Is the Nissan event being livestreamed?
I believe the Nissan GT Sport Cup will be streamed live on Nismo TV, I can see it also being streamed on GT's youtube channel, but I don't know for sure.

I hope they're livestreaming when everyone meets eachother as an infamous troll driver must be going
As far as I know, he has stopped sim racing and wont be attending this event.

1. Yes
2. You can set it differently but you would have to be insanely fast to do it during the pit stop. They were barely enough to change seats, especially at St. Croix manufacturer's. So we had to talk to each other and find some sort of a compromise but I guess in most cases it worked well.

I've heard about a Gran Turismo Conference on the world tour livestream, someone got more infos ? (hours ? will it be livestreamed ?)
