A proove how dump the idea was to let the one qualifiying with only 2 hotlaps to decide who will be the champion.

A qualifying should decide the starting position of 1 race, not of all races!

Yes @TRL LIGHTNING! You showed it again why you are the European Champion! And you set the fastest lap even you've been in traffic with your soft tyres.

But my other heart is really sad about @Tidgney, damn it. I'm really curious what happened

@Tidgney will need another tombstone now...

@GumballCGT What happened with you and De Jesus on those last laps? Timing showed you two back and forth but it was never showed because it wasn't for position to get through. Sorry you didn't make it, you're a great driver!

I cant watch from here, but can anyone tell me how Jay Szkoruda is doing?

He finished near the back in the semi-final, but not last so he was in the Repechage, and then in the Repechage he was starting near the back, gained 1 or 2 positions but wasn't close to qualifying for the Final

At the risk of ruffling feathers out there, where were the stewards today? Too many questionable moves that weren't even investigated. My understanding was that calls were going to be much tighter in the Finals but instead, it was Americas Finals loose. For a game that touts Sportsmanship, the impression I'm getting is that it's being sacrificied for entertainment value.

Also, I felt bad for those that had to start in the back of the field for the repercharge race. With such a big field, they basically had no chance to advance because of a qualifying session we didn't even get to see.

For the positives, solid presentation with no major technical issues (that I could see, anyways) and that little graphic on the bottom right was a nice touch. Good announcing, as always.

Stewarding is lacking big time on the FIA Lan events.

At both World Tours we had a great job from them. After those, it went massively downhill. Over agressive driving is getting rewarded. I learned my lession in Vegas, some are learning it now.

Edit: I agree with @OutlawQuadrnt on the qualifying stuff. They shouldve made a repechage qualfying alone for those that dropped to it, like they did for us.

Doodle was basically fully dead when after the terrible qualy in La Sarthe. Starting in the back of the field both times, having terrible pick seeding also.

Honestly disappointed with the finals so far and feel PD have missed a huge opportunity.

Why fly guys half way round the world and house them in one of the most expensive cities in the world to then give them 2 laps qualifying and only 2 or worse 1 race.

They could have showcased the game and showcased the talent out there far, far better than what they achieved tonight.

They were yay close to achieving something exceptional and made terrible, horrible choices which sold both the game and the players very short.

Choices that bad I wouldn't be surprised if it put players off the games competitive aspect rather than what looked liked being an open goal to attract more in.

Amazing how high the level is. I always thought Jay is amazing fast, but appratently the level at the championship is much higher.

Loved the stream, especially because I was able to listen to Duarte Félix da Costa and Felipe Albuquerque. It's a shame they only came for the final because the quality was top notch. Great races today (better than in the regional finals too imo).

I was going to write a couple of things about stewards decisions but I'll just say Carlos (who was the only driver on lapping on sec 36, according to Albuquerque) should have be in the final and not Adam.

What would be cool is if PD put up on you tube the replay from each drivers individual perspective so you could actually follow a favorite drivers race from the green flag to the checkered.

You know they recorded each drivers race from their screens perspective and should be able to share it just like any other race video. Many drivers towards the rear you never got to see what they encountered in the race.

It would not be narrated but that is not an issue.

Great Day one at Monaco :D But I am too dissapointed about the stewards :indiff: Still Giorgio is in final and that's for me a good thing :mischievous: Also Makozi proved again his immense potential, congratulation to him

2 groups of 15

3 one make races per group (pick 17 cars and let all the players exclude 1 in a draft format if you must showcase your cars)

Proper qualifying 10-15mins per race in the cars they'll use on the track they'll race.

Top 8 advance to the final and repeat as per the semis.

Fantastic close racing with the best drivers in the world and one mistake doesn't cost you or worse an opponent their chance.

All in a 2hr longer stream.
