yup season opener next week

I will be ready for season opener. I'm trying to get enough time on my wheel and setting up my car. My fastest lap on mediums yesterday was a 1:50 for the little bit of practice I did get. I would have been way behind and in the way.
Hope everyone had a good race today. :)

Great race guys, looking forward to next week and the start of the season!

Can we make sure that we start on time though next time, it's a late enough start in UK as it is!

Good racing guys...

That was fun and very interesting driving on slicks with 15% water.

We have to be more aware when a faster car is approaching during qualifying and if you're getting lapped in the race don't race the guy lapping you.

Also @CodDemon101 I'm not sure if you meant for it to rain, but if not then you have to put weather on fixed. If it's on anything other than that even just 1, then it will be random weather and we could get to 100% water.

Yeah definitely. Everybody please ensure regs before. I am even an hour later than you UK guys.

would you like to be a reserve just in case. You are basically guaranteed a spot in every race because there is always someone who cannot show up
yeah, definatly! sorry if my last post seemed like i was saying nevermind, cuz i really would like to join the series.

Yea good racing!
And +1 for the start time it's one hour later than UK for me.

Also maybe let's do qualy format in 'race alone' like during the first test. That was not exactly good this time. And if we keep that qualy format then please don't race a faster car during qualy. especially when your flying lap is already done anyway after running wide.

Blue flags in GT racing are not the same as in F1 racing. In GT a blue flag mean there is a lead lap car behind you, not let them pass right away.

When you are side by side before the corner though the lapped car should yield. Really no point in defending and creating a dangerous situation.

Right, it doesn't mean slam on the brakes when there still a second behind, but it does mean don't try to out brake the faster car or try to defend, just lift and let them go bye.

I also don't mind the rain but I like to know its gonna rain.

Moving it up an hour is fine with me.

Sorry guys, i was out of town all day. Sorry to you as well Demon. How did the car maKe out Demon? I sent you a tune. It helped me knock off 3 seconds. I wish i could've used it.

I put on 0% it was so weird

The 0% is for the start of the race only. You had weather change on 1, so the weather can be anything from 0%-100% after the start. It's a really pathetic weather system in GT6. If you want it to be dry, weather change has to be set to fixed.

Also some one said they can't make it if you move it up an hour.

I like the rain for the most part, because I think it is needed for the Audi to be in the balance of performance.
The usual rule of thumb with this Audi is that it is slowest before making a pitstop out of the 4 cars, but the fastest after. The correct setup can make it go just as fast before and after the pitstop.

As far as I was aware, (haven't paid too much attention to rule books), in single class competition, like F1 or Touring Cars, even GT's, a waved blue flag means move out of the way, you are about to be lapped.

However, in multiclass racing, IE WEC, Tudor, Le Mans etc, you don't have to move for cars in a different class. So if you are in GT, you don't move to let the Prototype through, but, if another GT car in the same class as you comes to lap you, you still have to move over and let them through.

On another note @CodDemon101 -- are there any spots open in the Audi? I have a friend who is interested in joining. He isn't on GTP yet, but he's a good lad, fast and clean. I think he might try and contact you later.
