I would like to say a big thank you to every one contributing to my loss of place and destroying my tyres.
i know it wasn't lag it was people not giving others room despite us discussing it earlier.
the r8s eat through tyres any way meaning i only have a 5/6 lap window where i can go for it before i have horrendous oversteer
so far in all 3 rounds i have been rammed into a wall of the track at least once.
This has got stop!

Lest we forget I also lost a place at the start thanks you getting rear ended by you at the top of the hill first lap. Such things happen, PM Joe or the Driver if you feel you were wronged, otherwise just accept it's racing.

I hate to say it, but...

What did you think was going to happen??

a single file race like last years F1 race,

Which almost happened,

Yes there were some aggresive moves, but it was actually a lot cleaner then I expected, Had a killer race with Jordy, he had the better car at the end of the race, just dumb luck that I ended up beating him, all race he would drop off then come from no where at the end of a stint, he got the under cut on me at the second stop, expected him to pit early at the third stop, so I thought I'd try the undercut, almost got it, the last 17 laps were fantastic, all that for last place,

Looking forward to trying to turn my championship around in the next 4 events, the Nurb is next,

Honestly I thought that race turned out well. Yea a bump and a nudge there but over the 60 laps the replays so far look very decent.

Well... that was a surprise. I really didn't expect to have such a gap between myself and the field. It was a case for me to just head down and push in the first stint to try and get away from Flying (shame he disconnected).

However, what is with all the whining about some contact? There is no point backing out due to contact around Monaco, for one thing the nice big walls stop it from being so costly. I was beaten up by a hard charging Jordy and Dave who were both trying to get back onto the lead lap. There was some contact but I kept going despite losing some tyre life and I was just more careful from then on...

Looking back at the race, Will, you say everyone pushed you around but you didn't make it easy for people to overtake. If you wanted to protect your tyres - don't push them...

how did i not make it easy i tried to give as much space as could
my tyres were destroyed by contact i can't do anything about that and even my setup than tnt gave me eat my tyres
yes i collided with jonny but his breaking point caught me out and i had nowhere to go

I watched you turn in on Joe at one point. You can always protect your tyres more... My second stint was spent mainly in third to do just that...

I think that was the most fun, most intense race I have ever had! I was just sitting there waiting and waiting, and then I think we had some contact and I couldn't let that be the deciding factor so I let you back in front
It was absolutely pot luck to have the car setup the way it was, it would just keep charging and charging at the end of a stint! It kept us close though, cause you had a lot of the straight line speed!
Thank you for the racing though Dave! Just excellent stuff.

After our practice, even though I'm a little rusty on the ring, I'm already looking forward to the next race, will be a completely different experience to the rest of the races!

And thanks Joe for yet another great round!

Yeah, last night I felt the wrath of my wife. She was calling me up to eat dinner. I must have told her to hold on like 3 or 4 times until she pulled the plug on the router.

I kept trying to push to catch the race leader and it only resulted in me making mistakes. Not to mention having to worry about Memto coming up behind me. It was an awesome race overall though. Cant remember who drove the Rx-8, but that was the best battle I had all night. 👍

You and jonny had a great battle!

You were unlucky all race. Slow stop, stuck behind iwasere and then router pulled... That whole first stint kept me very honest! Nice driving!

I knew to have patience at this track and wait for you pit windows to pass or get ,lean air so I did just that. I figure at some point everyone will endure at least 1 rage quit, but honestly the race is so long that screw ups can be made back. Jstc went to Le Mans and I lost over 40 secs of total time and had no draft partner but I still made a come back without any cautions to climb from dead last 12 place to an overall 7th place finish. Flyin I'm glad your wife had pulled the plug vs you being disconnected naturally but you and TnT will be getting points for this round, and with the points gap between positons being 2pts each you will see that not much was lost in the end.

I will be preparing a statement and updating the op with points for the Monaco Rd tonight.

Will, I'm sorry for my possibly blunt comments - I meant no insult by them...

It seems your biggest problem is set up watching back the replay - would you like some help for the Nurb?

Yeah, that first stop I tried to take on as much fuel as I could, figuring my second stop would just be a splash. Didnt help out too much in the end. :(

Man watching my replay was so heartbreaking. My splits and lap times were so good. Turns out I only pit 3x. I would have been in the mix if I didn't take fuel on the second pit. Rawr!

Not good that I missed this round. Im no fan of the Nurburgring.

+1 Good thing we have time to practice. If we thought it was hard to pass at Monaco, I wonder what people will say here.

Yea you can wait for the track circuit, but that will be a lot of time wasted behind a slower driver, yikes!

Chances are though, that if you're that much quicker than someone you can just ride their bum until they make a mistake.

Also, a thread title change is needed :)

I'm 50/50 on this round coming up. I'm going to the Indy 500 this weekend (Pictures will probably be taken) And I'm not sure if I'll miss any school (I think I have Friday and Monday off, but I am not 100%)

But if I can make it, I'll be in my Corvette!

Thanks guys it was kind of since I was at it if you know what I mean. I wish I knew how to upload Youtube video because this was an entertaining race! 👍

-Op Updated with points plus missing pole & fast lap pts from the last 3 rounds. Car Selection will be finalized after the next Zurich Round. Still preparing statement not enough time in the day to complete so tomorrow I will announce'
