Hahahahaha. Mate with the right people it is possible to race the Nurb 24 hr circuit, in the night, with full rain and heavy damage in the online 24 hours,
our team drove for over 9 hours ( 4 hours in full rain and 2 hours in the dark) before taking substancial damage,
I agree that the damage engine feels somewhat flawed and over sensitive, but I can assure you its not, when you wantch a replay of the moment of contact and view it from both cars, you do see usually the speed difference or 20 kph that causes the damage,
wheel damage and suspension damage is a lot less harsh when you use a wheel, you can somewhat drive around it, takes some getting used too,
The biggest issue is the unfairest issue of all, lag! if you get lag slammed the vehicle lagging usually doesn't take damage, yet your car is semi destroyed,
the way to solve this issue,
Have the field move off from the grid at 40mph, anyone jumping around or lagging they come to a stop not on the track,
They wait for the field to drive past, and resume at the back of the field,
this obviously isn't fair to that driver, but its fair to the rest of the field, sometimes it may take 5 minutes or so for their connection to establish itself correctly, so perhaps 2 pace laps may be required, but not recommended, as people get wrestless,
