Pace lap pace car speed will be 88 mph and we will race to the line after 2nd caution is texted. Still reviewing caution periods so find out how many laps we need to cycle everyone thru the pits at the moment. Looks like at least 2 pace laps to a possible 3 laps. Ill be online with TnT tomorrow if he can free up to practice this in action.

I'm definately looking forward to tonights practice Joe. I need to try our DF numbers in the draft and how it will do in the corners. I'll be signing on around 5pm PST if anyone wants to join Joe and I for some needed practice. It would be nice to simulate some laps with you guys before Sunday. 👍 :)

If this works well, can we have a pace car for the rest of the series? This sounds so cool! Haha

Joe, how are we going to work it out so we don't lose to many racing laps? Maybe we could guesstimate, and add a few on to compensate?

I think I managed to get into high 48 territory. But still finalizing everything to cope with drafting situations better. Should be a good race!

By running the least amount of pace laps possible per each caution period. I don't think we can add laps because even irl racing events don't do that plus we have travelled from the 1.5hr mark to the last 3 races being around 1hr and 45 mins. No one has complained yet so I guess everyone here is a true endurance racer, and I'm glad that I am responsible for the endurance racing on the gtp. But at the same time I want to try to get the racing back around the 1.5 hr mark so I don't burn out drivers by the end of this series. I know I sound like Bernie a lot of the times but I got bigger and better things planned for us in the future so I don't want to burn out drivers. :sly:👍

TnT your post came in as I was writing this one. Gtp needs a re quote edit option our something so we don't have to double post to quote people. Anyways likewise my man ill be there with bells on. Hopefully we can get some pack running going on if we can find some drivers at our pst late night time. :nervous: Also let's practice those Team Orders so we can pull away from the pack this Sunday! 👍

Good luck in your next race guys 👍 I hope to be back mid august!

Can't wait to get you back on grid my friend!

Caution Period
As 2 or more cars come together and spin out all drivers involved will type caution. If 2 or more do type caution then the field will race to the line. After the last car that wasn't in a collision passes the line and the pace car is on track then the pits will be closed Until the pace car picks up all the drivers. If drivers witness the accident and then dive into the the pits before all cars pass the line or in the pits crossing the line is legal. Once I type pits are closed then the pits are closed. We will do 1 pace lap and then the pits will be open. The cars that stay out will do 1 more pace lap to collect the cars that did pit. The cars that come out the pits will file in there order that they left the pits in fall into order at the back of the pack. After this step the pace car will bring the whole field around 1 last time to start the race again. Drivers remember that at the re start Gippone will pull into the pits before hand and we will pace across the start/finish line. I suggest that Gipone position himself in between turn 3 and 4 so he can catch the field at the last possible moment for one, secondly he will be out the way of pitting traffic, and third he will have a nice show watching us taking turns 3 and 4. Now the questions can begin!

Joe, I had an idea! I'm not actually sure if it is possible, but what would you think about putting our races on the YouTube? I was just thinking about it the other thinking it might be cool to go back and watch whenever we want!

I was talking to Memto on the other tread about how to post the Youtube video screens on the tread just now so I could do something like that. I just don't know how to convert from ps3 file to whatever file form that is needed to put it on Youtube?!,.

Oh I see, well depending on what file type the ps3 spits out, most of the free video converters you can download will do the job well!

I'm also going to buy that HDMI recorder that supposedly records whatever your watching.

Oh that sounds exciting, I would get one but with the features they are saying the ps4 is going to have it will only get about a years use :/

Lucky me I'm not buying ps4 until GT6/7 comes out for it. Unless that make ps4 backwards compatible then I'll give it a shot.

So during a restart I will pull away at the pitlane entry on turn 3 or at the regular pit entry after turn 4 (would be more realistic and since everyone would have done the pitstop should be no prob) and then I will go and sit between turn 3 and 4?

Regular pit lane get tires as it will make you do that keep it tight after pit exit release ride the curb all the way to turn 3 & 4

Can't wait for my tonight job :)

This should be fun tonight guys, I can only get my BMW into the 51secs in clean air, im gonna need some drafting/pushing all race I think, I can do long stints in my car so I hope my strategy comes into play.

I'm having a technical issue, ie my Internet company deciding to slow my connection down for no apparent reason
It shouldn't hopefully make any effect but I think the only thing that can really happen is me disconnecting. Just thought I'd say something incase it decides to lag or something like that!

Definitely the GT1 cars will have an advantage over the GT3 cars here at Indy. Just hang on buddy only God knows what will happen by the end! 👍

Whoa what a F1 race! I would of preferred Lewis to take his rightful win today, but at least he made do with the cards he was dealt. Anyways about to open race lobby unless someone beat me to the punch already'

I feel you Tyson this is my 1st oval race finally after almost 2 yrs of attempts. I had some kind of voodoo hex on me here at the ovals.

Race Room Open
I'll be on track in 1 hr to complete my FP3

7 not including me, also Dave why you left? I made already 4 safety car cautions periods! And the race is not over yet! You could have easily be in the pack again!

A million thankz Gippone the race was 🤬 awesome. I'm feening to do it again I will have to make a spot race our something. Ill post results & pts tomorrow on the op. 4 cautions keep us fighting the whole distance. I had bumped draft me & Plux out of the 4 way fight for a for sure 1 2 finish but that last caution with 20 or so to go made it fender to fender action the rest of the stint. It was also challenging change pit stradegies on a fly like that after the caution periods. Freakin awesome round guys I'm still on 1 over it! 👍

Hey I have a question to ask everyone regarding the next round.

Our next meeting falls on the 14th of July for you guys or the 15th for Dave and I.
Dilemma being that I will be away on holiday for a week commencing from the 13th

Would it be possible to either run the next race a week earlier (coming Sunday for you guys) or push it back a week.

I don't want to upset anyone's schedules or anything like that but I really wouldn't like to miss a round and it is unfortunate that it just so happens to fall on the week I am away!

If it doesn't work for you guys then I will just have to miss the next round, which I would be upset about because its such a great track, but will completely understand if it won't work!

I know Gadget, iwasere and myself won't be able to run a different weekend to the scheduled one
