I felt robbed as well until the end, then it looked good... but yeah, my tires were screwed and I hadn't tested worn tires almost at all, so I was definitely the slowest of the top 3 in the end. What a shame that DBC didn't get a 1-2 from here, but looking at the current pace, I'd say it will be possible someday later.
 
If i caused it, so be it, penalize me. But my replay showed no touching.. (of course I'd say that).
But i had been complaining the whole time before hand that the lambo won't take a corner. Braking is prolonged with this car..

I'll post pictures in a bit.

I have to say though that it was a pleasantly big grid, even with 4 regulars missing.

BTW, Eclat, I have to say now that your points system is a bit unfair. Death By Carbon's finishes were 1st, 3rd and 5th - that equals to 50 points, which, when divided by 3, is 16.666 (wow). Anyway, that would be less than your 18 points, which doesn't need to be divided as you were the only member of your team to appear in the race. So, your team would get more points with this system, despite DBC getting all cars to the finish line in very high positions...

I'll try to make next week's race but I can't promise anything. Hopefully I'll have found some pace by then.

I hate The New Nurburgring. :yuck:
 
I guess I have to drop out of this. My connection isn't reliable enough for 50 min races and I am more a puristic driver, mainly drifting. I'm sorry, have fun and good luck to the others

I got smashed by someone behind me? How is that "lost control on its own".
If you watched the replay you would see my speed increased, yet I had the brakes on full.

Anyway, great race, I really wanted to win with a 1 stop race but, that was a long shot.
I think I had great tire wear, I could run a safe lap on nearly gone tires up to a point.........
Once I got below %18 tires left I was dead. I needed 3 less laps, and not getting punted in turn 1 (Killed my tires and I was hoping to run away with carbon).....
Still, this was a fun race.

Surely I cannot be accountable for this part of the first corner issue. I was NOT directly behind the yellow vette.

I just watched the replay, that was completely your fault, you hit the red GTR, that GTR hit me, then I hit Carbon (Black GTR). Then the Red GTR hit me again.

You braked late too late, it was turn 1, you can't win the race in turn 1.

BTW, I had a damned sweet double pass on Voldy and carracer late in the race, right after the chicane. :sly:

Also, just watched the replay. On my screen, A_Higher_Place barely touched TurambarMakart, but he went flying off. I can't help but think lag was in play there, much like my incident with matty.
