Hi Gurizzi,
Will you let us know about weather settings for a race? Dont have too much time for practice so dont really try it on the whet. So if it will be raining i will be driving on wet gt3 car first time and will have no clue about what conditions suits wets or inters.

Hello, sir. --

There will NOT be any weather at this event. The forecast reads clear sky's!

Oops, I'm ready a little early. All I remembered was the start time had a 1 in it. Apparently that's 1:00 my time and not 11:00. Haha better early than late!

Just wondering do you ever run no setup races?

Falso if you could tell me what is next track i might try and works out a decent setup... If i'm not too offpace i might join up

You can find some good setups around here. I think the link is on page 1 in the info sections. All I use is one of those base setups, and it's really enough to get you competitive.

-------------------------------

"Thermite's Post-Race Show"

I was one of the many people who chose to drive the Mercedes. I'm surprised there were that many, but it's not a big deal I guess. Just one of those days haha. Anyway, it was very cool we had a lot of people join. It kind of got crowded during qualifying, with a few people battling too hard or getting in the way of faster cars, but that's expected. I still got a good lap in and started 3rd.

Everyone up front seemed to give enough room during the first lap. I got a tap in turn 2 or 3, but luckily no damage. I was expecting we'd all settle down after a while, but it only ramped up as me, ahojekk, and HEMIata got into a very close battle. That was some of the best driving I've ever done in this group. It was a blast! We just couldn't get away from each other! It was hard racing, but it was very respectful and clean

After that settled down and ahojekk got disconnected, it started to become clear that HEMI had the best car. I don't know how he was that fast haha. But congrats to him. Gibbs was also pretty fast, so I would have been fine with just getting on the podium, but he eventually spun out while I was trying to catch him. I carefully avoided him and comfortably slotted into 2nd, where I finished :D

Great job to the new guys who finished by the way. I know eduardo had a good run, cooldude as well, so that was cool to see. Can't remember how the others fared.

Hello, karsten---

No, we don't run any 'no-tuning' races. The tracks are voted on weekly, so you wont be able to know what track will be featured until 24 hours before race.

aww too bad, this way i do not have a clue about lap times... i've raced with real Monsters from GTP many times but i never got slapped a 7 seconds over my pace like at spa yesterday :P

2.13, when i was at mid 1.20, it's way too slow from me and i doubt it's all just about my driving... i'l keep looking around setups, the bmw is a funny drive so i might for that one instead of the R8.

Hello, ALL---

Great racing yesterday & thanks to ALL who participated!

-- Thermite, great drive! This race was very exciting! I finally found a little help adjusting my set-up, I was having trouble on the low-speed exit with smoking the tires, but I got that figured out! Yes, Silverstone seems to really suit the SLS, but its all good, some cars will dominate the grid at certain courses. I watched the first few laps on reply and whoa! you 3 were really having some fun, great driving! Great drive by HEMI!

-- My race went well, good battles with many drivers, but my pit-strategy was NOT on point. I didn't measure my tire wear well, then I made a fuel mistake!:lol::lol::yuck::yuck::yuck:👎👎👎. But luckily I saved my self a few spots by avoiding getting lapped.

-- Sorry to ahojekk & Manny, they both lost connection. In GT3 Club, if you lose connection(instead of quitting) you will still earn points! You will be scored behind the last car to finish. Thnx & sorry.

-- EDIT: I need to buy a new 'iphone' charger cord, the current one im using is a 'generic' one & I can't upload results using it. I will get a new cord ASAP, sorry for the wait. thnx!

Hey mate, i was worried too when i started. What nobody told me was YOU NEED TO TUNE UP YOUR ENGINE to the max and then use power limiter. This way you get 552hp at about 3500 rpm + the base tunning as gurrizzi said. That nocked 3 s of my pace. When you got that sorted try little adjustments on the set up doinng one at a time and you might find something that suits you. And dont race drunk :) that didnt work for me in silverstone, made 1000 mistakes :D good luck

Hello, zilva---

Thnx 4 giving advice & tips! Yes!, if you look @ post #1, the specs. for each car read; 'any mods'. So, try engine up-grade & Turbo(if you want). There are some players who do NOT run any mods. Its really what you prefer/like, but the best way to improve is join the race & finish, that's where you will get the best experience & info so u can move forward. If you want to practice on ur own, id say practice one track(the one u are most familiar with) & that will help also. Cya on course Karsten!

I see that might be something to look into.... but tuning ,testing all parts and all is gonna take a lot of time more thani though... I expected all to be way more hop in and have fun racing :D

Heck yeah! Glad you're still keeping the US start time. I can make those. Should be able to make the International ones after November as well.

Yes!, sir!!! ---

I'm trying to welcome as many as I can to our races! I think this is a good format to do that. I'm also a morning person so I really want to keep the 'US' time as well! 👍👍👍👍👍:gtpflag::gtpflag::gtpflag:

Just upgrade use a mid range turbo a setup from the link. Thats it. With that at least one lap pace wont be too far off.
