Hello, ALL---

I woke up about 30min ago & my power is off...so i started trying to figure out what is wrong? & it turns out my area of the city is doing power plant maintinance. The power may or may not be off from 11pm last night to 11am this morning, that means my power might still be out 3 hours after our race was sched. to start. Im sorry i wasnt aware about this, i guess they put an alert in everyones door but i think i threw it on the ground without looking @ it because its usually a food advertisement.....lesson learned.

-- Id like to elect Thermite to host if i can not make it.

-- once again, sorry for this last minute notice, thats on me!!! if my power comes back on b4 race i will be on ASAP- i will keep u all posted on the latest, plz keep an eye here.

It was so much fun, I already asked myself why I didn't start racing online before last week .

When I got into the box due to the rain 10 minutes before the end, only 1 second behind the leader thermite, together with lewmatic and saw that I forgot to buy rain tyres, I jumped up and down in my playseat, screaming, hitting the bottle of water next to me, literally flooding my living room, I had to run to the bath during the pit stop to get a towel in order to save the wooden floor

THIS will never happen again. Already bought the tyres
So much excitement going on in my first serious race, how could I not participate in the next one

"Thermite's Post-Race Show"

I was a little surprised I got the pole. That didn't last long, however, as I didn't get a great start and slowly fell back to 5th. I was fine with that. I just wanted to be careful and make it through the first lap. But then, at the second hairpin, fatboysja went off. So I decided to go low to avoid him, but it didn't work out. He barely clipped my left rear tire and I got damage. That led to an important decision: do I pit now, or do I hold off and drive an injured car for the entire first segment? I chose the latter. My car wasn't that bad. I wasn't out of control, so I was actually able to hang out around 4th for a while until the first stop with 40 minutes to go. I went from RM to RH here.

The middle segment was fun, as me and Gappasson had a great battle for the lead! For the lead?? How did that happen?! Apparently I had a quicker pit stop than I thought. Pit road was crowded, so I must have been able to sneak around some guys without slowing down much.

Pit stop #2 came with 20 minutes left. I put RM back on and tried to extend my lead a little bit. But then... it started raining with 10 minutes to go!!! I held off until the surface water was around 10%, then I came in and put IM on just in time. During the final segment, I couldn't see a damn thing going into turn one, and also on the straight after the second hairpin. I went off track out of sheer blindness, handing the lead over to Lewmatic. I then went off in that straight once more on the next lap. Once I figured out where the track was, I started to reel Lew back in, but it was too little too late. So congrats to Lewmatic! He had his "sea legs" working a little better than mine

Oh yeah, and I'd be happy to host again if I ever needed to. This wasn't my first time. It's a little stressful, but it's fun too. But I'm totally fine with gurizzi taking back control next week haha.

-- Excellent job Lew!!! sounds like you put in a REAL drive. good pit-stops & consistant! thats the way to handle it!! Lew has been racing in GT3 Club for a while now & im glad u got a nice win!

Thanks Gurizzi and Thermite! Yeah I definitely had my water wings ready lol. Was warned about fatboy during practice so during the start I kept an eye on him in the rear view and stay on the inside heading to turn 1 which payed off and also gained a few positions there, even barely avoided t-boning and car after turn 2 that spun out. Pretty much ran in 4th the entire race and kept a steady pace with the top 3 drivers. During rain I saw Gappasson go off and was running second behind Thermite then he had his off giving me the lead. The rest off the race I notice that my car was accelerating better away from Thermite on the straights in the rain on IM tires so I tried to stay as smooth as possible coming out of the corners. Last few laps started to lose traction in turn 2 and almost had an off in turn 3 but had enough of a lead to finish. I wanted to finish top 5 this race and ended up winning! Great race everyone and looking forward to the next one!

That's a good idea, but we will stick with the voting for this CUP. There is only one week left! Race #5/5 is this Sunday. I already have a plan for the Final race. The courses that will be available for this weeks voting will be difficult courses, this will represent the GT3 Clubs style of racing. What is that you ask?
