Well theres no stopping the WEC. news is that yet Another Japanese factory will be announcing there LMP1 assault on Lemans in 2012. thats not Toyota. Its either Mazda, Honda or Nissan. Combine that with Porsche for 2014 and Audi and Peugeot and Toyota and WEC is here to stay.

Hopefully WEC will become like F1 where none of the teams drop out.

That's inevitable but it's not a problem as long as the exposure escalates at the same rate.

Weird thing to say from an ACO person. At least they didn't name the manufacturer. In June ACO person said "We are in contact with many manufacturers who are interested in LMP1, not just Toyota" which probably was not so nice from Toyota's perspective.

Looks like the ALMS boss and Krohn Racing Team manager are pretty upset that Petit isn't in.

It seems that the Interlagos race in Brazil is the real culprit of Road Atlanta being excluded, not Bahrain. At the very least it would've been nice of the WEC to schedule Bahrain another time so as not to conflict with a marquee event, even if it isn't on the calendar.

If anything, the Bahrain event is a flop (or another event flops) and then Road Atlanta gets added onto the schedule in the future. I'm pretty happy with the variety of the schedule as it is now.

Not really sure where to put this but people are saying the devil himself is stepping down from his position at PSA/Citroen. a.k.a Olivier Quesnel.

This was rumoured during Wales Rally. I saw an interview where Quesnel was directly asked about it, he denied and didn't look upset at all about it...

Same rumor is saying Dominique Serieys (former Mitsubishi Dakar boss) would be the successor.
