I could keep with the Golf as it says in the OP right now, doesn't really matter for me i won't win the championship as a reserve anyway ^^

I didn't test it when i tested the others because it was getting too late so i know nothing about it. :P

By the way, with the reserves we're 15 right now.. still 7 spots to fill for full time drivers though ^^

I personally think the Golf is the fastest car, just needs a bit of patience.

I like the patience bit more.. because tuning is harrrrd ^^

Once you find a basic set up it's pretty easy though. Then you only have to adjust gear ratios, unless you want to tune specifically for each track. :indiff:

Yeah i know, some cars i've found good set ups for (stealing others set ups from the tuning forum) and then it's been good for most races :)

My RM Elise one was unchanged from Tsukuba onward, bar the gearing. If I changed anything I just went slower.

Sometimes that seems to be the best.. One time in the rain it was definitely so. I was much faster than others in the rain but when it dried i was much slower and i think i ended up last as usual. ^^

Probably because of the lower camber- mean you have more tyre in contact with the road on acceleration and braking. 👍

Its a great little car.

How come I seem to be the only one who likes oversteer?

I never like going down this line of argument, but maybe controller vs wheel? :P

I do like the colours on the Renult though, Ill give ya that ;)

Controller is easier to control oversteer.

Wheel is easier to prevent oversteer.

👍

Well said, and with the Clio you are getting oversteer weather you like it or not, so the DS3 is better if anything.

It's not acceleration from power either so your "Throttle control" argument is invalid also.

Did you mean "oversteer from power either"? :P

As that is the problem with the non-premium Clio V6 Phase 2 as well, it just slides on turn in and requires a lot of steering precision. 👍

Yes that's what I mean.. :P

here's my car in testing around the Nurburgring (before i painted my rims yellow)

This is strikingly similar to my "International Touring Car Series" but, with more power and less grip... I approve of this series.

Yeah been finding that out since I got my wheel this week :)

Of course, when you use the wheel more you get much better at predicting when the car will slide and therefore, be ready to countersteer.

But the instant opposite lock of the DS3 makes it easier to catch massive slides. 👍

this was a quick replacement for the postponed TOCA. most of the guys in here were from that championship

i managed to get a 1:37.5 on a one off lap round the nurburgring / D , got the corners just right on one lap
