[FICA][B-Spec] 2016 Formula One World Championship--Bahrain GP on 10 April

So any news from anyone? It's been relatively quiet aside from the announcements of where the pre and post season parties are:lol:

I should mention mine will be BYOB.

I'm working on a paint scheme, think I have the sponsors down but I'm having issues coming up with the actual scheme.

Any word on the cars? That's pretty much all I'm waiting on.
Swift's team car is stalled at the moment. Sponsors are laid out, but RACECAR hasn't had a chance to get me a preview, and to be honest I'm having trouble coming out with a decent livery pattern. Have one core idea, but that's about it.

@Angel @KuniKino****a I have the Swift Autosport sponsors ready for approval, still looking at what to do for the scheme itself but at least you can see if I've missed any of the regulations.

Umm...Bridgestone logos but Michelin tires. Is there a way to change that?
I'll try changing it on the template and send a new one to RACECAR. Perhaps that will help.

Update: Tire redone as best I can (mediocre at best) and sent to RACECAR, maybe it will work, but I don't know. If all else fails, I now have it set up to make the tire unlabeled.

22 year old Sakura Ishibashi will join the Kyoto-based Cat Devil Racing F1 Team as a reserve driver in 2016. Ishibashi, who spent 2013-2015 in the World Endurance Championship, acquiring a World Title in 2014, last drove an F1 car in 2011 and will be doubling her efforts with a drive for Cat Devil Racing in the VRR Coca-Cola Indy Lights Series. "I'm excited to be joining Cat Devil Racing's open wheel program. From when I started to now, I've grown a lot as a driver and I will spend as much time preparing myself for if I get called up in Cat Devil Racing's main lineup." Ishibashi stated to press Monday night.

This could very well change the balance of power within the series! Welcome to the series Sakura, and GTP, awesome avatar BTW.
I joined too late to actually get a drive anywhere, so I'm stuck with just being in reserves for this year. And thanks!

No problem. You and I both got in too late, I'm the reserve for Team Kate Upton (It's a long story, a few of us can tell it on request) so hopefully we can get some laps in testing or during practice.

At around midnight tonight, the winding mountain roads of the Stelvio Pass were alive with the sound of a Mercedes F1 engine roaring down the mountain. The driver, supposedly, was complaining about understeer whilst going down the slopes at around 100+ miles per hour. Unfortunately, as the driver forgot that F1 cars had no headlights... the car may have slightly sailed off a cliff and into the abyss...

R.T. Corsa have since given up the search and are now supposedly working on a new chassis, and they're saying it will completely obliterate the competition.

(yes, we lost the livery to the car, we need to redesign)

I'm becoming very increasingly concerned about the cars not making it in for a deadline. So, for 2016, I'm reverting to the 2010 cars I have in the game and the teams will just have to pick amongst those team options. The order of selection is..
Cat Devil Racing F1 Team (selecting the McLaren cars)
Black Rose Racing F1 Team (selecting the Scuderia Ferrari cars)
Cherokee Motorsports (selecting the Renault cars)
Polaris Motorsports (selecting the Williams cars)

Needing to decide (in order of entry)
Swift Autosport @swiftsmith
Cosworth Martini Racing @GTRacer22
Perl Speed GP @catamount39
RT Corsa @Mike458
Team Kate Upton @Jahgee (I'm assuming these two teams will be using the Red Bull/Toro Rosso cars)
Team Christie Upton
Scuderia Rabia Furiosa @DcrRaikkonen

Cars in the set...
McLaren-Mercedes (taken by Cat Devil Racing)
Mercedes GP
Red Bull-Renault (reserved by TKU unless said otherwise)
Ferrari (taken by Black Rose Racing Team)
Williams-Renault (taken by Polaris Motorsports)
Renault (taken by Cherokee Motorsports)
Force India-Mercedes
Toro Rosso-Ferrari (reserved by TCU unless said otherwise)
Lotus-Cosworth
Hispania-Cosworth
Sauber-Ferrari
Virgin-Cosworth

Well, my paints were being worked on. Guess those can be stopped now, @RACECAR. Kind of soils my whole plan in terms of team sponsors, though. I guess I'll go with Lotus. Team name change undecided at the moment.

Well, if the cars won't make the deadline, then why not just extend the deadline?

If not... R.T. Corsa will take Sauber-Ferrari.

Because the season tests happen in February and if teams didn't make the tests they wouldn't be permitted in the season. That said, Swift Autosport were the only ones to already have the cars in out of 11 teams. This gives everyone 12 months to actually put time into their cars or find other teams that will.

Unexpected but I'm guessing everyone was having a harder time then me figuring out the other template. If there are templates for 2010, I'd like to be directed to those.
