Yesterdays race was a good comeback from the dreadfull race at motegi, a bit dissapointed I did'nt managed to get to @Stephen Vann in the final laps of the race, but 2'nd is far better than I could ever wish for.
Managed to get past all but logic in the initial laps, but had issues getting past due to his ultra-slow speed in the hairpins, causing me to be caugt up by the rest of the field, forcing me to defend instead of attack into T1. In the end everyone flew past me with better tyres and better top speed I couldnt defend. Had a great battle with @andp132 for the ramainder of the race. he pitted a bit earlier so he got a head start into the 2'nd stint, but with better tyres I managed to close the gap. then I think he overfueld, or did'nt fuel in first stop because I managed to get out ahead despite doing a later stop. at that point it was hammertime to try to get away from him and catch the 1-stoppers. It worked well and with 20 minutes to go I was 16 seconds behind the leader (@Daniel199025 ), and closin in fast. but with about 12 minutes to go @Stephen Vann took the lead, and it was clear he had much better pace because all of a sudden I was not closing in so fast anymore. with 9 minutes to go I passed daniel and set target to the charging pink HSV up front. I was still closing in steadily until the gap was just 3 seconds, then I hit a wall and the gap remained pretty much the same for the closing laps. a small misstake from logic ment the gap shrunk to just 1.5 seconds. But it was still not enough. Congratulations @Stephen Vann on the win, and @andp132 on a strong podium finnish.
I dont know what happend to @DrAug , you where right on my tail after the first stop, then your tyres started to wear off a bit and the gap increased a bit, then I was focused on colo for quite a while and did'nt take notice of what happend on the rest of the track, and all of a sudden you where way down in 7'th or something, nowhere close.
Bad luck as I'm sure you had the pace to fight with me and colo.

I think I had my worst race ever yesterday. It was like being back having just started online racing, mistake after mistake after mistake. Absolutely disappointed in myself and it's not really worthy of a Storagetrunks regular !!
But hey...I didn't quit. And that is the only good thing i can say about it
Hopefully Midfield will be better, lets hope nobody else does a 1:04.253 as we can't have too many people starting from the same grid position, it will be the first time we DON'T want two people to see each other
(jokes aside I presume whoever set the time first goes ahead 
)

It has been decided to issue @CrazyJohn with a 2nd YELLOW CARD.
As in general we feel that John needs to be less aggressive with other drivers.
In the respect that we know John has a jerky connection,
John also uses a controller which makes it even less smooth
added to the fact that john is a litte over aggressive.
Clearly John being involved in so many incidents speaks for itself.
So we kindly request that John tries to understand that for us his car swerves
left and right all the time, and John needs to be aware of this when he is trying to pass others.
The 2nd Yellow card will mean that -2 pts are taken from the championship table rather than a race.

No action was taken at Tokyo, when I got taken out by gu1tar3rich trying to catch you up in the end of the race, battling for 7th.
And now you put me 3 places down, to 11th?
I may be pointing out too much but it is not getting fair.

John, i agree the connection is not your fault, however almost all of us see your driving all over the place.
It makes it very hard for you to overtake cleanly and hard for us to overtake you cleanly, it also means if you are alongside anyone, then you are bound to hit them as your car moves about so much.
If you remember a time when i posted that KEEP CLEAR OF JOHN when it became clear you were having a lot of scrapes with people.
I agreaa it is not your fault, but it is not our fault either, and you driving with a controller rather than a wheel makes your car look like it is going all over the place all the time.
There are certain things that happen, accidents through misjudgement are accidents, but when you knocked Rich off this was after you had alreeady had 3 other incidents in the same race.
In the end we have to say " JOHN you need to calm down your driving a little when you are near to other drivers,
and try to be a little less agressive.

As many times as I got 2 wide with someone, I haven't crashed or contacted with that person, except nissman.
Oh my god Steve, it has been 2 months since I returned home. That was at Tokyo, not from Silverstone and onwards.
I don't live in the Pacific to receive special treatment in a league because of my connection.
That does not matter, rules say you judge incidents not only on how it happened but by the outcome as well (or not?), which was exactly the same.
This one was exactly like the Tokyo incident.
Same outcome.
But different steward decision.
Come on.
