How did I miss the results of the Roadsters. I have been super busy, but wow. @praiano63 congrats, my friend, on a very close fight. I always enjoy competitions with you. And @xande1959 and @DolHaus congrats on the podium finish. I am still in awe of how close these tuning competition have become.

- thanks for testing this car legend but one thing can be sure when a car and well Constructed in the case of GT6 it works great as in GT5 Starfish car always corresponded. I congratulate you for choosing to home.:bowdown::cheers:👍

Thank you for the review. I did not even stop by the Jaguar dealer for this competition. I picked the DB9 on looks alone. Happy to see you drive it so fast. You drove a few tenths faster than my time with the car.

Both of you did a solid job on this tune. I fear that my tune may have let the DB9 side down but I am my own worst critic so I wait for other people to review mine. I was told that my backup car (the Jag) was better than my DB9 by a thread contributor in my garage so it looks like I plumped for the wrong car personally. That said, I am glad I went for the DB9 as I could look at the car driving around all day. Maybe one of the other testers will find something hidden in my tune which I wasn't able to find. Its been known to happen before :)

@DolHaus

Best Time: 2.01.933
DC – 9.8

Review
Everything I look for in a tune. Quick, responsive, balanced, it can be pushed, easy to drive and can be driven at full pelt by a DS3 pad effortlessly. Nothing more to be said about this tune in all honesty. I would say that If I had more time, I could probably get quicker and quicker with this tune around Silverstone. A definite contender for a tune that will find its way onto a spare tune sheet once I have finished testing. Congratulations on an amazing tune.
Thank you very much for testing and for the review, glad you enjoyed the car and got a great lap time:cheers:

The testing finished Sunday for this class, did not announce the results but I did post them since they were set. Top 8 cars were only just over .500 apart.

@shaunm80 Thank you for putting in the time to test and review, great job and good lap times too:tup:. I was hoping for a bit more out of mine, but I suppose it was only that fast. But it handled well, I think it lacked corner acceleration.

@Otaliema

Best Time: 2.01.784
DC 8.3

Review

2.01.784 is a very quick time for this car. It took a perfect lap to get this time though. The car is planted, stable and the rotation is okay. As I have mentioned in a previous review, I prefer more rotation from the back end to help with the front end steering. This car was a little too planted and it meant I had to come off the throttle for a millisecond to straighten the car up to the line I wanted. I am not taking anything away from the car as it is obviously fast, I just didn’t feel that comfortable with it as I did others. The DC I have given was slightly better due to the fact I got the fastest time (at time of writing reviews) with this car. Well done

Thank you for the feed back. I'm always twitching my throttle input so I never noticed the overly planted rear end :lol: I like the back to come around as well helps with cornering.
I'll get your times loaded into the sheet here in a few.

In fairness, your tune should have had a better time, As i mentioned in your review, I was up by 0.5 of a second going into the complex at the end of the lap and I was just pushing too hard, that pushed me too wide and I had to shed all the time gained to keep the car within track limits. Had it have not been for that scenic detour, you would have been at a 2.02.2 or 2.02.3xx. Lack of driver skill cost the lap time, not your tune :) You or DolHaus should get that lap time more where you expect it to be.

No worries about the testing. It was fun and as I mentioned to you before, If I have time in the future, I shall do it again but I will have to see what I am doing uni wise and if I can fit it in.

Be proud of the time however.. Fastest lap time I managed to get. You made me work for it but I was quite surprised when I looked at the final set of lap times set. :)

Whilst your in the spreadsheet updating the scoring, can you add in DolHaus times and DC into the Street Class as well?
Link here for his scores.

Thanks you in advance. :)

Well if you are going to win a race, that is a good way to cross the finish line. Those AI can be quite aggressive when they want to be. I only did that race twice and each time I had the AI trying to ram me into the advertising boards, it was not what I called fair play.

I hear ya, makes the race more interesting and the AI less of just a moving cone on the road to be driven around.
I was driving the car hard to get a feel for it as best you can for online play. So I did smack the LFA around a bit on the infield. :lol:

Hello Hami, very very close , you´re right. Congratulations everybody.

Just one thing Motor City Hami , i must say you have a disvantage in this shootout. DolHaus and myself, we have the vantage to testdrive our own car. This make a difference because the car is so well adapted to our driving style that the laptime drop a lot due to this fact.
So i can say your car could be a non official winner because of this. Congrats for the great tune.

Holiday is over boys, quite quiet in here yesterday. I did manage to get most of my testing done, have only one car left to test and that is mine. I like to do mine last to keep it honest and fair, this way I am far removed from the last time I drove it (and it has been a while now).

@ugabugaz not that I am pressuring you or trying to be a pain, but you have half the tunes tested and posted and was curious as to if you will be able to finish. The deadline is midnight tomorrow, or by 8am EST Monday, or would you like an extra day or two? With testing continuing for another week on the final class, extra time would be ok with me and I am sure the other testers would be eager to hear your reviews.

As for my testing, Pro class is done and I am hoping to have the review posted later today. Had to disqualify the fastest lap time though, changed who got the top of my review. Interesting how the cars basically got separated into 2 groups with times.

Driver went too wide on exit, all four wheels off. Did not red lap but way too far to be fair. Two laps later I was even with the ghost, stayed tighter on exit and was just over a tenth slower. Not much, but want to be fair since no other tune was given that treatment. Plus it was my tune so I knew I could get close:sly:.
