@Ridox2JZGTE I like the reasoning you have on that but tire change required. You could do CM & CS so you get the feedback your looking for and fit in the rules.

@DaBomm4 great idea on the tires for ridox.

@Bowtie-muscle British racing green ;) still green but not the trademark neon green @Motor City Hami uses

I'll do what Dabomm4 suggested :)

The STi needs Tsuchiya style wet driving to get below mid 1:04s :D Small slides that made the Rex quicker on exits than normal grip technique allowed - avoiding understeer. To do low 1:04s it needs to hit 1st sector in flat 15s or 15.1s at most, then last sector in low 34s range as well as close to perfect last hairpin exit and last corner. God I love Zero Sports :embarrassed: Epic replay track cam action... I will include the replay with the tune.

I think thats a competitive time for someone only after feedback!;) 👍

From past experiences, usually my time do not reflect the end result  It may be quick in my hand, but it's not always the same with variety of driving style from testers. I think the replay will show that, the Rex needs a lot of riding the slip angle and exit oversteer to be quick, reminds me of "the Evo professor" Nakaya-san when driving Evos in the wet at Tsukuba ( Best Motoring ), that man fits like a glove on evos  The last hairpin is always a must watch.

One thing about your cars they are fun to drive, so testers(me) tend to give them a few more laps which helps with time result.

It sounds like your spec STi and my spec STi are quite similar beasts! I`m trying to find a balance between entry rotation and exit speed and i don`t think my driving is good enough, let alone my tuning skill!:banghead:

Entry will be my biggest worry, the car is based on a replica, so it has real life based setup, and like IRL, driving 100% on the limit on street tires in the wet will need certain skills and techniques to avoid entry understeer :( Might not work well with brake mashers  Prepare to yank the E Brake boys  or brake oversteer if possible.

well my gt6 disc and ps3 are not getting alone. It constantly crashes. Other discs work just fine. I've tried all I can think of but I've reached my limit of patience and time. I won't be tuning or testing unfortunately because of it this and we'll see what the future holds. Good luck everyone!

I have noticed my driving style change since starting wet driving/tuning and I feel my braking has improved due to it. ;)

That sux bro. Have you tried cleaning the disk? Maybe a finger print got on it, also I had a similar problem so I backed up my game save and back up to usb than deleted the main game save and loaded from the back on disk and it has been allot more stable since

Yeah I tried that and a handful of other things. There is probably a solution but I have no time or patience right now. I'm just going to go gt6less for a while.

My Spec street tune entry.

Great tune sure. You do need to specify a new set of tires for one of the tracks. One of rules is to change the tire compound. Other wise looks like a blast to drive.

Otaliema, your weather settings work a treat at Willow !
Why didn't I think of that ???
...um, don't answer that !
Weather is not something that one would think would fix a lighting issue. I never did, I tried it on a whim. Great to hear it worked for you :)

Awww Crap. I have not been playing GT6 much lately and I ran out of credits. That hasn't happened to me since the early days of GT5. Wish they would bring back a few high paying seasonals. I guess it is time to play with a few Red Bull events.

Ok no problems. I´ve writen the tires choice on the tune post.

G.V Spedway = SPORT HARD TIRES

Tsukuba = COMFORT SOFT TIRES

I hear ya. WTB high pay out races.
I went from 18 mill to 2.5 mill testing all the cars for this challenge. Not looking forward to all the Redbull races to get my cash level back up, I'm not super fast at them, the car is to twitchy.

Perfect thank you sir.

Wet driving makes you smoother :D If you are tester, be prepared to use the E brake on my car

I had the last test session, nothing changed from last test, used my low 1:04 ghost for some hot lap fun, did 1:03.9xx with only 15.2s 1st sector and about a tenth slower last sector ( before the last hairpin ). My best 1st sector was 14.9s, and the 1:03.9xx lap last hairpin and last corner was a bit slow, so I can see at least mid 1:03s with a 'perfect' run

I think other tuners will see their cars on low 1:03s as my entry is not that competitive from tuning settings perspective.

Ok so I like the feel of my street racers evo 10 but am dreading the rally spec ( i think i've called that class a different name every time lol) car. I've never tuned for dirt before and hate racing tires, i just don't get any feel of weight transfer or limits of the tire through them. I'm not trying to make excuses but more like providing reasons if my tune is trash lol:banghead: so without further ado...

Street Racers Evo X https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/tunes/fitt-lancer-evo-x-gsr-07.352/

Tires are SM for Autumn Ring and SH for the Stowe. tune change is 30/70 TQ split for Autumn Ring and 45/55 for the Stowe.

Rally Spec EVO Rally Car https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/tunes/lancer-evo-super-rally-car-03.353/

Tune change is TQ split 40/60 for Willow and 50/50 for dirt

Good luck to everyone and thanks in advance to the test drivers. I will start saving now to return the favor for the next challenge :D. I'm hoping to not be too far behind the arguably 2 greatest tuners on GT Planet @ImToLegitToQuit and @ImToLegitToQuit  i mean @praiano63 and @Motor City Hami

For those of you that are bored I would be grateful if you stoped my my garage. I tune for online competitiveness and would love some feedback on my cars. My most successful are the two R8's 550 and 600 pp and my (so far) undefeated 4500pp Dino i'm posting today. good luck again and see you guys around. Legit Tunes

gotta go to work and drive some of these today https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-read-first-post.78950/page-1261#post-9643060 oh man the grind of having to do the same job every day:mischievous:

- A doubt hangs in the air.'s not touching the tester can set the tuner, then hand can change whatever circuit, in this case (TORQUE-DISTRIBUTING CENTER DIF ....):cheers:

I have adapted my tune to OIL CHANGE DONE .
Like this it will be easiest for any tester to build my car, most of them have their oil already changed on their cars.
So, my tune sheet is OK for oil change now.

is this in reference to me ? i don't quite understand what you are saying and I want to make sure i'm not breaking any rules.

I thought the original global rules in the OP said no oil change ? I'm ok if some tunes use it and some don't, I didn't really think about some testers using cars thy already had.

@ImToLegitToQuit will be allowed to change tuned to, once posted, so testers can use the one in the case of LSD for the two circuits of the event:cheers:
i made the torque split change for the cars because we are allowed 1 change in the setup between tracks correct ? if you are saying i'm allowed to adjust my tune for oil change, it's not needed.
