I found the SM tyres faster in the wet than the SH tyres on one tune and in my other tune, the CS tyres were faster in the wet than the SH tyres.. It never made much sense to me why it was different. I think this discussion has started to clear up some of that confusion.
Mmm, on the Evo at Stowe, SM tire drove very bad, constant wheel spin up on the straight and corner exit even with 50:50 torque split, but still can corner well
Trying to imagine running Toyo R888 GG or Dunlop Direzza 03G ( similar to SM ) in the rain / drizzle- just wet tarmac is fine on semi slick when not going 100% on the limit, but in standing water Can't imagine ADVAN A050 R Spec G/S ( SS GT6 ) in the rain ...
