Okay, So before I publish my STi Street Racer tune. I just want to check one thing so I don't fall foul of the rules. On the Silverstone Wet Race I am using SM tyres, On the Autumn Ring Track I am using SH tyres. Thats allowed right?

Not just ok, but required :)

Just aa heads up, my wife is on a vacation from work for the next ten days so I will only be able to check the thread a few times a day. So all questions will be answered just might take a few hours. If it's important/urgent please pm me so I get the email on it.

Happy tuning.

Sorry for the delay, have been trying to figure out how to assign the cars to you and not getting much time to do it.
Spec Street tuners: STi
Street racers: Evo
Enjoy sir. I'll get the tuners post updated here in few

Wow, what a coincidence :P I have ZERO SPORTS Impreza WRX STI Type RA BTZ003 N1 replica that I can use as a base for Spec Street and 2 choices of Wangan Midnight Kamiya Brothers ( Maki and Eiji ) Evo for street racers :P thank you :) They will not win the competition, but should be fun to drive real life based setup.

Ya never know, real life set ups may work very well due to the wet track balancing things out a bit. Real life tunes need to be more versatile than the ones we normally tune.

Exactly which models are you using for the basis of these?

WRX STi V '98 for the Zero Sports, and Evo VI GSR TM Ed '00 for Maki Kamiya, but Eiji Evo V GSR '98 is not listed in the street racers OP car list :(
The evo V is listed in the street tuners. The evo I was so bad I couldn't list it same with the STi I.

But I got STI for Spec Street :) I have a replica tune for Evo I, it wasn't bad, just slower  The Zero Sports at 339PS, 1174kg already capable of 1:03s at Tsukuba on CS tire, replicating it's real life Best Motoring lap time. I have to make some changes to fit into regs, the car has chassis reinforcement for one :)

Apparently the Evo VI TME '00 is a popular car here. I have to do a second look at mine and compare to my newly finished Evo VII replica. Then I will move onto tuning all 3 Evo's in the spec street class (mainly for the replicas). :odd:

Evo is just a popular track car IRL due to the AYC and ATCS it has, when Top Gear tested the Evo VII it ended up being faster than the Muchilago when driven by the Stig. Something like 4 seconds faster then the STi they tested same day.
And I was noticing that stock the evo's where almost always a second or three faster, once I tossed a LSD on the STi it leveled out.

Now to figure out this cornering issue with my prototype, if I can get that sorted it will be as fast as the evo.

Combined average of about 2:21.xxx for me right now. Still trying to settle on some settings, got my tires figured out :) with my street racer STi(s)
Your hot lap of 1.02 makes me feel a little happier now. I am there or there abouts.
If you two are that fast on the wet, I am going to finish dead last:lol::lol::lol: need to figure this one out as I am a few seconds off on Silverstone:irked:

Even with my not so good driving skills (as evident through the times someone else can achieve with my own GT86 seasonal tune) I am now down to 1.01 - 1.02 every lap on Silverstone Wet. I am hoping that as per usual, better drivers than myself can push that to 1 min exactly every lap.

Well, then stick a fork in me because I think I'm done.:ouch:

You'll figure it out. You are always highly rated in the final standings of these challenges. Its getting turns 1 and 4 right that can make or break a lap. I just learned not to carry so much speed into those corners and I can gain it back on the twisty sections.

Been bringing out my inner McRae with the scooby...

When in doubt....

Flat Out!

Interesting cornering style, You have obviously been doing a lot of drift seasonal practice!. nice skills.
Its not fast but it is a lot of fun!
I got bored of grip and ultimate lap times so I threw a set of CH tyres on, pushed the power to the rear and locked the diffs. Love a bit of 4wd drifting, they're a little bit sluggish in the tighter bends but great on the fast sweepers.
Feint, handbrake, loud pedal!
