I have that carved into a wooden cake box in my kitchen!

Didn't know Eddie Izzard was popular across the pond
That depends on who you ask ;) I'd never heard of him till I met m wife 5 years ago love him now. I got all my friends hooked on him too.
Great actor too, plays the dark nice guy really really well.

:odd: Man dirt tires on tarmac make CS tires look like racing tires

Gonna have to make a note in the testers section to check tires lol didn't think the game would let you use dirt tires on tarmac courses.

I can confirm that the 7 lap dry out is a placebo. During some testing I set a hot lap of 1:02 on silverstone on lap 10. I reset the track and set a time of 1:01 on the first lap. so the track is not drying it's something else.

Good to know, might be fun for a little four wheel drifting action. I'm fairly sure you can't run snow tyres but I've never tried using dirt tyres on tarmac

it was a gltich I went to swap them out and they had the little red circle on them same as the snow tires.
to do it. put them on the car on a secdondary tune tab switch tabs than goto a tarmarc track and load the tad they should still present on the car. will proly work for snow tires too

Cake or death?
Cake.
Sorry fresh out.
*kuddos to anyone that can finish that skit with out looking it up*
Cake or Death....
Well we're out of cake!!!
I'll have the chicken then.
Tastes like human sir, welcome to church of england cake of death?

I think that how it finishes  it is a very good skit.
At the rate my WRX tune is going, mine should be done very soon

Here is a question I just thought about, with requiring the tires to change between tracks would a split tread count also? Ex. SH front/SM rear for Autumn Ring and SM/SH for Silverstone? Technically both axles change tires, essentially a tire rotation in real life. It is a unique way to look at the rule but it is a gray area that should be clarified.

You're out of cake?
We only had 4 pieces we weren't expecting such a rush.
So my choice is "Or death?" I'll have the chicken thanks.
Is the way it ends iirc

The tastes like human comes from the NRA part of the skit, where is he going on about the locals in the Philippines calling humans long pigs and losing their land cause they don't have a flag.

Yah I think I nailed my STi street car first go round. For wet and dry. Giving it a rest for a day than coming back to it.

Hmm mixed compound. Never said you can't mix the compound, so long a each axle changes for the tracks I'll allow it as it follows the rule for compound change.

The way it runs is a combo of both of ours.
See you tube video here NSFW it's un edited so lots of swearing i've set the link to start at the tea cake or death start.

Can I sign up in all categories? Or only one category?
You can sign up in up-to two classes. As the draft is over you would be assigned a Make to tune, model choice would be yours with in the list for the class(es) you sign up for.

What are you doing? You never ask a question like this until right on top of the deadline as you post your tune.

Now everyone knows to try this. Secretly I was going to try this and see how it went.

I've tried it. i'll let ya know what I thought of it when I post my tunes :mischievous:

This is turning out to be a very fun and interesting challenge.
The rally cross is going to be very interesting see how everyone handles the very differant needs of tarmac and dirt. what approches are taken.

There are definitely some unique challenges with this uhh... challenge. I've been going round and round on whether to go with hards on dry and mediums on wet or vice versa lol.:boggled:

Run 10 laps on each and work out your average times then add them together and find out which gives you the best combined time overall.

Combined average of about 2:21.xxx for me right now. Still trying to settle on some settings, got my tires figured out :) with my street racer STi(s)

I had to check which classes you were in then, I thought you were in the spec street class and my car was well off the pace lol
I understand your momentary concern lol. I edited it a little fixed a typo should a bit more clear.

My rally cross I'm around 2:15.xxx in my STi, still working some cornering issues on the tarmac

I haven't had much time to get anything serious sorted yet, got a rough tune sorted for Grand Valley but haven't tested at Tsukuba yet. Hopefully I'll get some time tomorrow to get some laps in, had an urgent work order to get finished so the last few days have been 20hr days with nothing but short naps to keep me sane!

Am I too late if I sign up now for the Spec Street and Street Racers ? I am going to adapt my Wangan Midnight replicas if possible, looking for feedback mainly :P I don't choose either side, Evo or Sti are great

Let me know which make I am entitled to :D Need to spare time to do some tests, very busy :P

Street racer class is tricky to get right. I can get my car to drive as I would want it to on the dry race using tyres with less grip but on the wet race, I don't feel happy enough with the tune for the grippier tyre (even though I feel it needs it in the wet). You have certainly created one hell of a challenge here. I don't know where to draw the line to maximise both tunes, or have one really good tune and one slightly bad tune. Hmm. choices.

Your hot lap of 1.02 makes me feel a little happier now. I am there or there abouts.
