I don't think I can. My job has me working 50+ hrs a week. Not to mention I am a terrible driver. My times as of now are hovering at 1:56.xxx and I am running out of ideas everything I do now seems to either wayyyyy oversteer(if you drove any of my other tunes from GT5 or the 111R on GT6 and 5 you know it's oversteering bad if I don't like it) or it get unpredictable. About 25 laps is all I have with it not including the 2 laps with it stock.

I just haven't gotten to the PS3 in that long, tonight I will probably turn it on, maybe even update to the Course Maker Edition. ;)
Well, if you are interested in joining, you have nearly two weeks to let me know and have a tune ready. It would be great if you were involved but no worries if you are not able to. :)

No worries. If it makes you feel any better, I have only just broke into the 1.54s with a stable setup today. My base setup was over steering in the long curves big time. You have plenty of time to get your tune ironed out.

Wow, not even 24 hours from the OP and a tune completed, and I haven't even bought the car yet. Granted, I probably won't touch the car until the 21st or 23rd.

@shaunm80, you can put me down as a definite maybe. ;)

Well, if you remember this post... ;)

Yeah, I know. I think I'm gonna go mull over a few other tunes and get some Ideas. I think my spring rates are the only think I haven't made any major changes. Stiffened the front by like .5% and the rear by less than that. So I might do some figures and see how far I need to stiffen them.

I don't know what it is about this car but it just loves to let go if you're accelerating and steering, outside rear wheel just loves to give up and spin. Tried all the obvious solutions involving the suspension and diff but I just can't seem to get rid of it

I managed to make it under steer on the long curves at one point.. It didn't have an ounce of over steer at all during the entire lap.. I can't recall what I did to it to make it that bad but I quickly decided to revert back to a base setup and start again. Understeer was not pleasant at all.

I think I sorted mine out. Just out ran my own ghost by 2 seconds giving myself a 1:54.xxx then duplicating it with a near photo finish with the second ghost. With that I'm going to post what I have at this time in the Name Pending Garage and link it here.

R246 is a tough track to get the car tuned to do all the corners comfortably. So I took mine to a few other tracks and ran some laps then came back to R246. Then tweaked a little for the high speed second half. Definitely need to be comfortable with a slightly oversteering car.

See, I took your car tune out to compare with mine with me behind the wheel and times were similar. and don't think I won't tinker with it. I might be fiddling with a similar car and have a great idea. This is most definitely not the final product but, I do feel it is good enough to get me in the door.

Drive a Cow, they uddersteer.

But, just gonna leave this here ....

Flying Booger

Was a bit of a Pick and flick but I'm just being punny.
Is this going to be your final entry or a base tune so you have something to come back too should you need your original settings? I only ask because some testers will grab a tune as soon as its available to test.

Edit: This tune you have on your thread is only 496PP. The tune has to be 500PP for this event. Anything less will put you at a power disadvantage straight away. Add all the power parts available and set the power limiter to 99.1% and you will have 500PP. :)

I know I'm at a pretty hefty power disadvantage but I felt the weight reduce was worth more to me than the Cat and I found the difference negligible. Though, if any Testers would like to try it out I'm never opposed to constructive criticism, it is as you said a reference point for future growth.

I'm away for three hour and it takes me twenty minute to catch up
@fbccars924 id sit on for 24-72 hours than drive it again make sure it wasn't you adapting to the car.

And Ota this is not a final tune. I will be modifying the post in Name Pending as we go. Again though if this is what ends up being in the final tests I wouldn't be too upset.

Thats cool. If you want to leave it at 496PP, I haven't got a problem with that. When you have finalised your tune, let me know and I will add your tune to the main post. :)

5kg lighter isn't worth 15bhp, particularly on a track with a massive straight. I really suggest you get back on the track and hammer out some laps, you're about 2 seconds off the pace at the moment and that is more than enough to hide the small, important gains.

Tester please. Although there are some pretty quick lap times being shown, I'm just happy to be close enough to @coryclifford & @hall90 to see the tread on their rear tires.👍
Added as tester. Thank you very much :)
I'll tentatively put my name down for testing. May have the time, may run out of time!!
Added as tentative for now. I hope you have the time to test as I always appreciate your comments but no worries if you run out of time. :)
