^ I am the one should be depressed :), my car is a bottom feeder in lap times, I may have put too much front grip and made the rear too edgy, the car is like a little pet monster :(

I'll likely be heading toward you, I don't think normal people are going to enjoy my car so much. The aliens amongst us will hopefully be able to get around the course in a respectable time, but Joe Schmoe is going to end up throwing their controller at the TV :scared:

You can't be sure until you read the driver feedback, which are all with Slacker. :grumpy:

The S cars can't get the power to the road with the SH tyres though, just ask Trackripper what happened with mine.

It's why I decided against the 240SX in the end, too much of of a handful even with a rear wing.

We're actually quite close in terms of times. :P Though the Jag does it without drawing quite so much attention to itself.

Looks like I made the "Princess" a little to sharp for the test conditions.:(
Was trying to get the most out of her and didn't think about the fact that unlike shorter tracks the test drivers were only going to do a very limited number of laps.
Hopefully after this is over I can get one of the ring nuts to give her a thorough thrashing to see just what she's capable of.

@Cy good times there hope my car didn't scare you to bad.:nervous:

Not even in the slightest. I should have posted a better time for your car. I should have posted better times for most, to be honest. Having run that many back-to-back the contrast between cars is quite stark. Once again I fell for the school boy error of not drving something else in between testing my car. It's very easy to adapt to undesireable traits, traits that it will take the average driver more than 3 laps to adapt to :dunce:

I'm going to have a look at a few cars and see if I can't fix the Pontiac...

It's just the tyres and the lack of weight on the back that seem to cause this.

That was because I stalled off the line, and then proceeded to make smoke with every given opportunity. And I also completely forgot to give the car a higher top speed.

Which was all solved by just getting a Mustang.

Princesses are a bit edgy, my Black Snow Princess Evora for 550PP (gonna post that soon) is pretty edgy as well, but as long as the rewards far outweigh the edge, you shouldn't have to worry. It is Cy we're talking about here.

I was talking about the Mustang and the Jag's times :P Pretty close so far, though I'd hazard a guess that your power to weight is far superior.

Ohh…in that case, it was because I threw that tune together, got it out of the way ASA-humanly-P so that I could go back to driving the IMSA C5. I lovvee the Vette, the Mustang…well, I can take it or leave it.

I got a PM from CyKosis, I need to know if it's feedback results before I can open it.
This way everyone can verify via PM reciepts that I do not open the results before the deadline, thanks. 👍

I'll remember to label my PM then, so you know what it is.

Ready to start testing 550PP cars now. Looking forward to it.

Heres my results for 450pp

I can improve the time on all cars, some more than other but not enought to change their ranking i think. Well done guys:tup:

edit: some laptime i got testing other cars:

-Ford Mustang GT '05 7:33.881 (really liked this car)
-Nissan Silvia spec R Aero S15 '99 7:29.268 (this one on share on my non-gtp account)
-Toyota Supra 2.5GT twin turbo R '90 7:33.2xx
-TVR Griffith 500 7:33 (didnt liked the handling)
-Mustang Cobra R '00 7:30.012 (also liked this one)
-Toyota Supra RZ 7:31 (felt good but no match to other car)
...tested some more but stopped before doing a full lap. :)

Amazing, your top 3 is the same as Praiano's and there's not a huge difference in your times either, all in the 7:20's for the top three.

Awesome times by Mike 👍 I don't think I can do those times, ever :) My entry's time was a surprise, I thought it would perform badly reaching only 7:40s, but I am amazed with the 7:36s time. At least it came on top of another car, 2nd from last

Nice job mike.👍👍
Still I'm a little surprised that my best was only about 11 seconds off your time, usually the gap is much wider.

Lap times with each car for all tuners seem to be pretty wide. Order is roughly the same but I would of thought the times would still be very close.

Thx! :)

Theres about another second to shave for me, i will have to wait for the reviews before getting more into details though :D

I guess the gap between us will be closer for cars that are easier to drive or have more understeer.

:)

Starting to kick myself for not entering the Green Monster SSR. Was much more driver friendly and from what I've seen so far testers lap times would have been about the same.
Really strange since for me the S15 was a good 5 seconds faster with just my initial rough tune on it and a good 10seconds faster with my final tune than the SSR with its current tune.:odd::confused:

I would like to tell you why, but i cant :D
Your SSR was great though, lot of fun :), without the wing it would been even more competitive:tup:.

Theres some cars that were good from the start, no matter what you will do to the slower cars they will not be able to follow the pace, but in some case there was more potential that was not used.

All i can say is there is always a way to go faster with oversteer, while you cant do anything with understeer other than using the optimal line and braking point. But on the other hand, understeer side is safer, and can get more consistant results from tester to tester and end with better overall results. :)

My error was to tune my infiniti on the oversteer side, i get the most out of it that way, but i should have spent time making it more driver friendly, its not doing as good as i thought it would hehe but if its still enjoyable to drive i dont mind the result.

:)

No worries...I just thought the S15 was faster than it obviously is.
Think I'll see if I can tweak the SSR in the next few days and have you give it another run after the shootout ends.

Let me know when, i will try it for sure! :)

I will need you to accept the friend request finaly, to be able to test your 550pp car. :)

Yes, that message contains my times, DC and comments on the cars. I left a massive amount of space at the top of the message, so that you wouldn't accidentally read anything. I should have perhaps titled the message a bit better...

That's fine Cy, I figured it was. 👍

Still no internet for me, if I find a Spyker I am building 550pp class today, I will test at least one group, no matter Verizons efforts, they cannot stop me.

If it falls down to it, the tuners are to send friend requests.
For one because it is less sends and for two a tester can't test until the tuner makes a FR action. A tester can't be delayed if the tuner sends the FR.
Of course if the testers list is full he needs to send the fr when he clears room, cuz not is just effing lazy.

Just so that's clear. I dont know Mike's time schedule, but I believe he is close to finishing.
