I'm betting with its aero yours is an easier car to handle through the corners than many of the others. Thinking it's your relatively low top speed that's holding it back as I expected. Just can't make up enough in the curves to compensate on the faster sections.:(

After seeing the results so far I'm really starting to regret not spending more time on the Jag instead of trying to squeeze the last little bit out of the S15.:drool: The Jag has more untapped potential I'm thinking and I overtuned the S15 instead of just calling it good enough.:crazy:
With the length of the ring it's a bit tough sometimes to tell if small improvements in time are from adjustments to the tune or just a better lap by the driver.:dopey:

I was (admittedly still kinda am) expecting 46-48 for myself with it though.
I'm wondering if my WRS run in this car here (on rh) played an effect on my driving it now. Such a crazy car when you really thrash it, just bonkers grip, a GT-R feels sloppy compared to it imo.
 
There was still room when i tested your audi, but hard to say how much, goodluck with your testing! :)

Basically, what he means is, you're a bit late into the tuning thing, we're already testing by now, with most results completed. Keep an eye out for future events though. 👍

DATES & DEADLINES:
Tuning - January 23rd - February 3rd
I'll be using a version of Krekme's deadline "when I get home from work" on the 4th, for any late-runners. Everyone in the world will easily have passed the 3rd by then.
Testing - February 3rd - February 17th

It's probably too late to sign up as a tester, but I would like to take these cars for a spin. Would it be okay to send Friend Requests to the tuners, or should I ask them each personally?
 
Most tuners would be happy to accept an FR if you include a quick note about the shoot out in your request. If you think you can run all of a class by the deadline feel free to add your results as well! Just be sure to check the OP to see how to submit them.

As for me, I got almost nothing done in GT5 this past weekend but I believe I have only a few left for the 450 class but I really want to go back and try again with some of the slower times now I've been at it for a while.
 
I actually have quite a bit of free time until the deadline. I could probably get one class of them done fairly easily. I don't know if I could manage both classes by the deadline, though. That might be a bit much.
 
You can finish one before deciding on the other you know. :lol: As said, it's entirely up to you if you want to do two classes or just one. 👍

The burden is of course his, to send fr's, signing up after the tuning deadline.
 
Could I ask one of the 'Ring masters to run my Speed 12? It was very close to being my 550pp entry, but I went with the more tame and slow Dodge :dopey:

Just wondering what kind of times it may be capable of. (It's on share )

Good thing it wasn't, for a couple reasons. It has adjustable front aero, it can go higher than 20(which would be fixed anyway if legal) and it's a "glitched" car.

However, it is not glitched. The PP drops with the supercharger and 1027HP, but this us because no human can actually handle the car.
Neither a compliment or insult to your tune, there is no driver that could handle this car reliably anywhere near it's actual limits.
I honestly don't know why they include cars in the game if they will have them perform like the Speed 12. "shrug"

Next time I will sign up earlier to have more of a chance to give the cars my best. I'm giving them all a fighting chance by making sure to drive a clean lap, but I know that given more time, the lap times would be faster. Everyone's car is getting a fair shake though, I promise. :)

Any updates from the remaining 550PP testers? Any deaths to report or such? Also, slacker, this is a stupid system for distributing results, I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms since this has cut me off from my usual supply of feedback. :lol:

Also, since Krenkme asked for feedback for his TVR, I may as well stick my neck out and do the same. Evora on share, anyone with spare time, please go try that out…uhh…yea, thanks, I guess. :lol:
